12oz bottle @Pauls Gathering Thanks Jay/j12601-pours a thin off white head and hazy gold color. Aroma is funky, herbal/pine hops. Taste is light/medium malt-caramel, herbal/pine hops. Oxidation. hirigalzkar (3231) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - DEC 6, 2009
Bottle. Deep dark-orange. Aroma is hoppy with some cookie sweetness and a touch of calcium oxide. Taste is also hoppy. But the malt thing going on in the background is the really interesting thing. Woody and smoky. Great balance. finol (3453) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - DEC 6, 2009

Bottle Shared at Ryan & Max’s Tasting @ Pauls. Pours an orange copper body with a white head. Pine, dry earth kindling, a bit oxidized with some herbal but skunk y greens. A buddy vine y spicy finish. Odd ball, i enjoyed it. j12601 (12982) - Poughkeepsie, New York, USA - NOV 22, 2009
Bottle at Paul’s tasting. Pours a hazy caramel orange with a thin white head. Oxidized malt, some slightly old hops, a little bit of pine and citrus as it warms and some caramel. The oxidization is pretty apparent here, A little sweet, some grapefruit tones. Long bitter finish with a lot of wood and tannins. Cool story, neat process… mediocre beer.

(Bottle at Pikkulintu, Helsinki) Poured amber and clear with quite large and long lasting white head. Aroma contained hops, malts and nuts. Palate was quite full bodied with medium carbonation. Tasted of malts, hops, fruitiness, alcohol, grass, sweetness and bitterness. Hoppy and bitter aftertaste. gottalottaibu (243) - charlotte, North Carolina, USA - NOV 17, 2009
I really enjoyed this beer. Deep orange pour with a nice size head. citrusy nose, reminded me of marmalade (sp?). smooth coating mouthfeel. light oak with a nice bitter finish. flavors were nicely balanced, the aroma was the stand out for me though. I would happily drink this over and over. anders37 (26857) - Malmö, SWEDEN - NOV 16, 2009

Bottle Thanks to Sam. I am to cheap to have ever sprung 30 bucks for this brew. Pours out a amber topped with a sand head. Aroma was not like your normal IPA. Sweet rich hops, some oak, and char. Taste much more of the sweetness caramel, oak, and light bitterness on the end. DJMonarch (9179) - Northwich, Cheshire, ENGLAND - NOV 9, 2009
