From the Bottle 18/12/2009
Whisky hop aroma. Small white head. Golden coloured smooth on the palate and hoppy with a crisp and slightly dry whisky malt finish. Rune (12827) - Tromsø, NORWAY - DEC 14, 2008
Pint, cask served in excellent condition and at a comfortable drinking temperature at Aikman’s Cellar Bar in St Andrews. Clear, copper-golden body under a decent white head that laces moderately around the glass. Great appealing aroma of hoppy freshness. Sappy fruits in flavour with notes of grapefruits, juniper and berries. Has also got a slightly wheat beer touch. A fresh, dry, living and well-bodied product [04.11.2008]. Bottles from the brewery prototype box, 21st Dec 08 and 1st January 09. Pale gold with a line of head. Aroma of wheat and lemon peel & passion fruit with a hint of honey and toffee. Taste of honeyed malts and a decent hop bitterness. Surprisingly hefty mouthfeel. Good lingering aftertaste. Bit of a dusty dryness too. A Mes rate: bottle thanks to Cad Calloway.Nightfall (1307) - Hamburg, GERMANY - DEC 22, 2008
Pale gold with a thin but well behaved white head. It’s like a nice wheaty cask lager with some enjoyable notes of coconut and tropical fruit. Straight forward but interesting and tasty.
Bottle (no label orange cap) thanks to Magic Dave6. Golden orange color. Thin white head. My first Wheat ale. It tastes indeed like a mixture of Wheat beer with an ale. Slightly bitter. Hints of banana (much less than the average Hefeweizen though). Other fruit also present (mostly citric fruits). Rather refreshing and enjoyable.

From cask at Bon Accord. Pours clear and golden orange with a creamy white and dense head. Light fruity hops aroma with a mild wheat malt note. Flavour is sweet fruity with a light bitterness and slight acidic/citric to lemonish refreshing touch. Bitter and nice fruity finish. Very smooth and refreshing. Newmerous bottles at home. Aroma is pale honey malts, some oatyness?, grassy slightly citric hop. Taste is similar, on the sweeterside as it starts and then bitters up more than your normal weisse. Not much wheat on the go, but a nice english wheat. cgarvieuk (24545) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - DEC 1, 2008
Bottle at home ... Bright yellow ... mellow citrus hop ... slight bitter front ... some banana... some lemon peel (contrubuting to bitterness) quite fruity ... med-high bitterness... medium body KnutAlbert (6754) - Oslo, NORWAY - APR 22, 2009
Bottle - one of the three "test beers".
Citrus - clementines, oranges and some bitter pee. Full body, but not overwhelming. This is a bit cloying, it does not have enough hops to make it truly memorable. harrisoni (18579) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - DEC 27, 2008
Bottle in the mixed prototype box. Clear gold, lasting white head. Juniper on aroma, some yeast. A very tasty slightly spicy beer. Cereal isnt overly evident. Good hop stong on finish. Bit of creamy wheat on aroma maybe. Finish is excellent, that bit of spicy juniper and hop. Finishes better than it starts.
