Keg at BD Camden, 28th January. It pours opaque brown with a small light head. The nose is cola, caramel, toast, vanilla, earth, spice and leather. The taste is bitter-sweet, candy, brown sugar, earth, vanilla cola, light toast and some spice with a dry finish. Medium body and fine, prickly carbonation. Perhaps a touch sweet, but it is rather drinkable.

Keg at BD Shep Bush. It pours a deep brown colour with ruby edges and a medium tan head. Aroma is spicey yeast, caramel, toffee, figs. Quite sweet. Taste is sweet with big molasses and toffee flavours. Some roasty woody notes too with a distinctive chestnut profile. Medium to full body with good carbonation. Good and flavourful.
