Hoppy aroma. Golden coloured hoppy slightly rich on the palate and fruity with some bitterness in a crisp and dry roast finish. RichardGretton (4758) - Leicestershire, ENGLAND - NOV 20, 2007

Beer Festival 2007. Golden beer with a lightly caramel aroma and a dry, caramel and toffee flavour. Overall a plain hopped beer.
Interesting cask only ale from brewdog.
A bit different from their other stuff.
Not as much fruity flavours come through.
Nice malty balance and more herbal and earthy notes.
Very drinkable yet full of flavour. great piscator34 (2515) - Winnipeg, Manitoba, CANADA - OCT 26, 2007
cask @ The Wenlock Arms. Dark gold in colour with aromas of bread dough and earthy hops. Flavors are of light malt, mild citrus fruit, hay, and peat moss. Quite bitter for the style, and medium bodied. Could have done with a bit more concentration of the citrus and malt flavors, but I really liked the added bitterness. Bright golden brown with only a very slight head. Pretty standard hoppy aroma with some very delicate alcohol. More straight forward hoppy fayre in the mouth with a full on grassy hop finish. Nothing to exciting but very quaffable. Not the best brew dog by any means.
Cask, Nottingham Fest 07. Golden with a small head. Aromas are soft fruit and mellow citrus with biscuit malts and some earthiness. Flavours are lemon and grapefruit with biscuit malts. Sweet hay with peppery notes. Floral with a good bitter finish. cgarvieuk (24230) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - OCT 20, 2007
Cask at blue blazer edinburgh ... Crisp orange ... light hop nose .. intense sharp hop with loads of grapefruit ... little too bitter for me ... with a big building bitter drying linger. harrisoni (18436) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - OCT 19, 2007
Cask gravity at Nottingham BF 2007. Copper colour with thin bubbly off white head. Bit of tea and rubber on the aroma. OK in mouth and then this coppery almost metallic aggressive hop kicks in. Wakes your taste buds up. Bit too much maybe. DonMagi (5593) - bantervile, Bedfordshire, ENGLAND - OCT 17, 2007
Cask at Blackfriers. Aroma is strange something is typical brewdogs grassy bittering hop and sometims its this harsh cigarett ash, luckily its normally the first. Taste is a good balanced grassy hop and richer than normal malt from these fellows, almost balanced but the bittering hops prevail. I recon a more balanced vertion of this could be one of the finest bers in britian actually as its got eveything an outstanding ESB should have but lacking body. thebeertourist (5189) - Oslo, NORWAY - OCT 17, 2007
Draught at The Wenlock Arms. Hazy amber with a frothy, but persistent head. Citrus and earthy aroma. Great bitterness- citrus and earthy hops galore. medium body. An outstanding pale ale.
