Vom Fass Stone Brewing Berlin 2016-10 getrunken. Schöne Zitrusnoten und recht gut balancierte Chilinoten. CurlyJoe (255) - AUSTRALIA - JUL 26, 2017
Hazy off yellow with some thin white head. Aroma of tropical fruit hops, sticky citrus. And then the taste is surprising! Nice smooth, sweet, bitter IPA-ness then this chili comes sneaking out towards the end. Builds and builds with each sip. Perhaps not a ’great’ or ’classic’ beer, but very tasty and a bit of fun. 330ml Dose. Golsen mit leichter Trübung und mittelgroßer Schaumkrone. Etwas muffig. Leicht hopfig. Feine Bitternoten. Sehr trocken mit Chili im Abgang. janubio (883) - SPAIN - MAY 25, 2017
Golden colouor, small head that fades soon, small irregular lace.
Aroma of tropical fruits, fresh hops, some chili, pine.
Full creamy body, lively carbonation.
Taste, well, now there’s a lot of chili that makes hard to appreciate any other thing, but I’ll give it a try: tropical fruits, caramel, resins. Since I’m a lover of spicy hot food, I really can appreciate rhis beer. Very good. Dervock (1372) - AUSTRALIA - MAY 12, 2017
Can - pours hazy gold with a small white head. Aroma is hop, fresh chillis and a bit of citrus. Taste is mix of hop snd mslt with a mild citrus finish and a building burn at the back of the throat. Best chilli heat I’ve gotten from a veer yet.

Cloudy pee yellow. Aroma is deceiving. Light hop, citrus, berry, chili powder, fruity hop notes. One dimensional with the spice. It takes over. Good drinker for the ABV. I’m not crazy about hot IPAs but this holds up nicely. maekchu (3944) - Hirakata, JAPAN - APR 23, 2017
Can from Asahiya. Nose of caramel, grapefruit, and stone fruit. Hazy (chill?) amber. Pine, irritating child burn, some tropical fruit. Thin-medium body. Rough stuff. Nice aroma, for sure, but the chile just burns away much of the flavors. Phagelund (170) - DENMARK - APR 22, 2017
Golden colour with white foam. Aroma of citrus, hops and pine. Lots of chili in the taste. Dont know if its to much but nice to try. Maris (1531) - Canberra, AUSTRALIA - APR 8, 2017
From a 330ml on 9//2017. Pours a cloudy lightish golden with bugger all head. The aroma is pleasant enough with some light fruity hops. Flavour wise, the sweet citrus and firm bitterness in a relatively prototypical IPA is quickly overwhelmed with masses and masses of chili. It’s so intense, it makes your mouth burn like you’re downing a super hot Indian dinner. One almost has to reach for water to calm things down.I have quite a few chili beers and I can’t say I’m a huge fan, but I’ve had the odd mild one that works reasonably well. This is just not for me. If you like the most intense, super spicy foods, it might just float you boat, but for me it was just plain difficult to drink. Just too much imho. ksiwzos (141) - GREECE - MAR 30, 2017
Can at home.
Poured the whole can, very cloudy, golden to light orange color. Aroma is mainly hoppy, classic brewhog hoppy aroma with stoned fruits, citrus and some grass. Some pine tones and some sugar. Sweet taste, follows aroma with some tropical fruits and a quite good amount of grassiness from hops. Chilli slaps you right in the face, not too much but enough so it isn’t just a light kick (I enjoy spicy food). Aftertaste is hoppy and ligher chilli.
Medium bodied, dry with low carb and oily texture.
A good brew by Brewdog, chilli is right there and quite enjoyable, but maybe another style would be better for the chilli because I really can’t feel the IBU’s, if there are enough for an IPA...
