On tap at BrewDog Camden. Opaque black beer with a good cream - tan head. Smooth palate, a little fine carbonation. Rich dark malt with all sorts of interesting things going on! A very light touch of medicinal herb, vanilla ice cream, rum and raisin ice cream. Splash of cocal cola. The diverse flavours join up very well indeed. Finishes semi dry with a trace of coffee. Very good beer with a naff name!
Tap at BrewDog Camden, London. Pours oily black with a creamy, beige foam head. Aroma holds a lot of rich, dusty cocoa, some ripe and dark fruits, heavily roasted malts. Flavor is very sweet with lots of roasted malts, chalky chocolate, dark sugar, prunes, raisins, alcohol, dirt. Full bodied with fine to average carbonation and a creamy texture. Warming finish with more dark cocoa, booze, fructose, dried fruits, faint licorice. This is heavy-duty stuff, man. Give the beer a little swirl and a lovely, tight and creamy head billows to life. I’d say the 1/3 I got is just the right amount. My edge is well and off. saxo (19522) - Højbjerg, Aarhus, DENMARK - MAR 12, 2012

On tap at BrewDog Camden. chris from stone stout black as hell smooth in mouth. Doesnt really go anywhere bit of liquorice and very soft dark choc on finish. Not big and showy but I do like the finish. 3.6 Scopey (15753) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - JAN 17, 2012
Keg at BrewDog Camden. It pours jet black, with a thin dark tan head. The nose is tangy dark fruit, cherry, chocolate, icing sugar and some roasted malt. The taste is varnish, cherry, raisin, tangy plum, currant, smoke, tobacco, roasted malt and some alcohol warmth, with a dry-roasted finish. Full body, fine carbonation, smooth mouth-feel and well balanced. Really fruity and drinkable imperial stout - delicious!
