Keg at Brewdog Edinburgh, total recall rating. Must’ve been May 2012 and I got some cheeky time off in lieu. I had two bosses at the time, and I’m pretty sure one of them okay’d it. Nipped up to Brewdog and this was on. 2pm. Nae lunch. Think it was a half pint. Just ace. Not sure what else happened that day, but this beer was epic. ghendrix (153) - Rochester, New York, USA - JUN 5, 2013
Draft in Brewdog Glasgow. Came out the tap with almost lamina flow. Thick black oil with tan head reducing to lacing. Coffee, chocolate, malty, molasses from nose to the swallow, but very well balanced. A sweet warm aftertaste, liquorice and raisin perhaps. Really enjoyable. fonefan (49437) - VestJylland, DENMARK - NOV 25, 2012

Clear dark black brown colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige to light brown head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, molasses, chocolate, moderate hoppy, light alcohol. Flavor is heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, licorice - raisin, dark malt, chocolate, hoppy. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is light to moderate alcoholic.
A - Black with a tan head turning to swirl of fizz on top with nice lacing.
S - Spicy, herbal, bubblegum, toffee, Xmas bread, bit of medicine, Riccola, little bit of booze but less than you expect from 10%. So much going on hard to describe. Very intersting
T - Quite different from the taste. Licorice, wheat (bubblegum), coffee bitterness, booze, chocolate at the end
MF - Quite rich, full body at the begining Medium towards the end
O - Weird beer, one of the most interesting Stouts I have ever had! So much going on that you just don’t expect. All flavours and aromas were very nice just different. Worth a try for sure, as it is very well made, but not sure it is something I look for in a stout. oskurot (3) - SWEDEN - MAY 13, 2012 does not count
Pours pitch black, full body with a brown thick head. Smells of soy, vanilla, chocolate and alcohol? Tastes of dark chocolate, candi sugar, liqourice and a hint of rum. Nice lingering bitterness. oh6gdx (26488) - Vasa, FINLAND - MAY 13, 2012

One-third pint, draught at BrewDog in Edinburgh. Lasting, brownish head to a devil-black body. Aroma of grainy chocolate malts, vapour from the alcohol.
