COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
keg/nitro/bottle
A 10% decadent and indulgent Imperial Russian Stout. Brewed with a copious amount of dark malts, infused with coffee beans during the boil and after fermentation and aged on cacao nibs, vanilla pods and toasted oak chips. This opulent whirl of chocolate, coffee, dark malts and hops even rivals the most colourful of imperial Faberge eggs. Originally created to celebrate the Russian Royal Family, this is a fitting tribute with which to toast your own empire.

(Nitro-Keg) Pours a jet-black beer, with a dense, brown, creamy head. Lots of cocoa and coffee in the aroma, with malt, caramel, brandy, bourbon, cloves, raisins, fig, plums, oak, treacle, and liquorice. There's a kick of alcohol, and some nettle-like bitterness towards the end. Really thick, creamy mouthfeel, that makes the beer dense and unctuous. Some excellent flavours in this beer. The alcoholic sting and nettle flavours could be tuned down, but otherwise close to a model imperial stout.

Tap. Pours dark brown deep tan lacing. Aroma has roasty, caramel, chocolate, coffee, malts, alcohol, raisin, and maybe, lets underline the"maybe," something medicinal that is not rubbing alcohol. Taste is medium sweetness, lightly bitter, lightly sour, as the cocoa does its thing. Palate is the medium side of full, creamy, slick feel, soft carbonation, long finish, but like holding a single note. I drank two Russian Imperial Stouts to commemorate the October Revolution. Objectively I side with the Bolsheviks although I may have been drawn to Bakunin. Either way the Russian Imperial Stout needs a revolution. Neither Polish nor Scottish samples made me feel like storming the winter palace.

Butelka w Carpe Kraft.

Piwo czarne, nieprzejrzyste. Piana ciemnobeżowa, bardzo gęsta, zbita, drobnopęcherzykowa. Szybko opada do obrączki.
