A lager that actually tastes of something? You have to be kidding, right? Our lager is made with 100% malt and whole leaf hops. Maybe we are crazy, so what? Taste our lager and we are pretty sure that you will agree that the fine line between insanity and genius has, just become a little more blurred.

33 cL bottle at Blackfriars. Pours clear and yellow with a minimal white head. Light fruity hops aroma. Light butterish and bitter to fruity base flavour. Quite simple yet also nice and easy. Smooth and bitter finish.

Bottled. Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is malts, hops, some grains. Flavour is quite much the same. I had actually waited for something more from a lager from Brewdog...

Papsoe (25063) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - FEB 16, 2010
Bottle 33 cl. Pours an almost clear amber golden with a rough yet dense off-white head. Sweet caramel in the nose - American style. Medium body, lots of caramel and toffee with a lightly bitter finish. 180110

Leighton (21235) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - AUG 1, 2011
Bottle at ChrisO’s Pre-GBBF Shindig 2011. Clearish gold pour with a fine, white head. Toasty, aged malts in the aroma. Medium sweet flavor, some light honey, faint bitterness. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Slightly sticky finish, nice roasted sugars. Past its prime but not bad.

harrisoni (18578) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - AUG 4, 2008
Bottle at Chris_o Pre GBBF Shindig 08. Pours without much head. Lovely orange gold to look at. Some odd meaty aroma. Not much in mouth and then some dry stinging hop on finish put more pork terrrine as well. Not one of their better efforts I think.

FatPhil (16102) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - DEC 9, 2008
330ml bottle - - Olutkellari, Helsinki - - Liver pate aroma, a touch of pepper. Slightly thin, but also sticky sweet palate. The liver pate carries into the taste too. Heads towards marmite or bovril as it warms. Definitely salty. Very dull. 1-dimensional sticky sweet hoppiness, nothing interesting, no crispness, emasculated. Better than the Sam Smiths India Ale we had at the same time, but that is about as positive as I can get. Both are hideously sugary. The line between the BrewDog brewers heads and their arses is certainly blurred.

MiP (15667) - Sønderborg, DENMARK - FEB 26, 2009
Bottle, 5.4%. Quite hoppy aroma, a bit rough, hint of butter. Cloudy yellow colour. Very small white head. The flavour is malty and dusty, bordering on papery. Medium bitterness, a little grainy. A bit on the citric side, and tastes a little old, but OK drinkable.
