This Californian Pale Ale packs a huge hoppy punch. A 21st century low amplitude, high voltage hop hit. Some people say slow is good. We believe fast is better. Being shot from a Hoppy Howitzer beats the hell out of trotting round a submissive paddock. Thats why the internal combustion engine got mounted onto two wheels. Screw down the throttle and listen for that dull banshee howl floating back from those malted mufflers. Drink fast, live fast, sleep late and rip it up down empty streets. This pale ale is chopped, tuned and ready to roll. Fuel up and hold tight, this little thoroughbred kicks like a mule. Perfect for drinking by the bottle, case or even keg.

Bottle at home. Pours clear copper gold with a beige frothy head. Aromas of lemon peel, light pine needles and fresh cut grass. Taste has a clean citrus wash over a caramel malt with a grassy hop bittering things out. Lovely light body with slightly sharp carbonation. Overall this is one seriously refreshing session ale. Easily one of my favourite easy drinkers.

Sample at Dogtap Columbus on 2/20/17. Pours clear amber with a medium off-white head. Aroma of pale malt, citrus and pine. Malty and bready flavor with a piney and citrusy hop finish. Solid session pale.

Klar gylden APA med hvidt luftig skum. Smag af grape, citrus og humle. Ok lngde p smagen, men langt fra hvad Brew Dog ellers leverer.

Pours hazy, honey-amber colored. Lacing of head. Aroma is peppery, with undertones of marmalade. Mineral water sort of palette, and surprising lack of bitterness.

Opaque yellow-brown with no head. Strong aroma of Citra hops/grapefruit. A nice graperuity pale ale flavor, but Im not really getting any of the touted hop kick. Smooth and light-bodied; could be a bit more carbonated because its bordering on a bit sticky.

Flaske kjøpt på Kiwi Hamna. Aroma sitrus, grape, humle. Utseende klar gylden med offwhite skum. Smak sitrus, grape, blåbær, humle. En bitter og smaksrik øl med fin lang humlet ettersmak. Godt øl ---

UPDATED: FEB 25, 2017 Poured from a 330ml bottle @home. Medium clear. Gold-copper. Slight off-white, frothy head with medium lacing. Hoppy fragrance. Has the typical BrewDog dominating passion fruit flavour. Body is light, watery and carbonation is soft. Overall not my favourite characteristics for a beer, but they do come together very nicely to create a light, easy drinking, refreshing alcoholic beverage. Given the right setting (served chilled on a hot summers day at the beach), it could possibly be my beer of choice. (Original rating= 6-3-6-3-14)

At the start, ti was absolutely delicious. The aroma is so floral, citrusy. It looks delightful and on a warm day, it would be one of the best choices. The smell and taste of hops is veyr strong. Over time however, it comes across a bit bitter especially without the % strength to back it up. It sticks to the palate a lot.

Amber bubbly with medium white head Citrus aroma Good hoppy bitterness with citrus notes but otherwise sour carbonated water However easy drinkable, could be in the warm summer day.
