Bottle and keg: Filtered

Ingredients: Spring Blend, Cara and Crystal Malts; Simcoe, Citra and HBC hops.

This Californian Pale Ale packs a huge hoppy punch. A 21st century low amplitude, high voltage hop hit. Some people say slow is good. We believe fast is better. Being shot from a Hoppy Howitzer beats the hell out of trotting round a submissive paddock. Thats why the internal combustion engine got mounted onto two wheels. Screw down the throttle and listen for that dull banshee howl floating back from those malted mufflers. Drink fast, live fast, sleep late and rip it up down empty streets. This pale ale is chopped, tuned and ready to roll. Fuel up and hold tight, this little thoroughbred kicks like a mule. Perfect for drinking by the bottle, case or even keg.

UPDATED: FEB 22, 2013 Bottle from mane liquor. Lovely golden orange pour with a small white head. Nose smells fantastic! Loads of grapefruit and grassy hops. Nice hop presence. Crisp bitterness. Great balance of tropical fruits and floral hops. Just an awesome midstrength could drink gallons of the stuff. Best mid Ive ever had!! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Oct. 16. A 0.33 l bottle. It poured a hazy orange body with a smaller head. Decent aroma of sweetish tropical fruits, just a bit on overripe side. Bitter flavor, very light, but pleasant for a sassy style it is. Thin bodied with shorter, medium-bitter finish. Also quite chalky and earthy (clay). Well, fine, Simcoe was most beneficial among hops used, does well on a hot summer day.

Bottled. Orange colored, traces of yeast, medium head. Beautiful hoppy nose, tropical fruit. Pleasant hoppy and fruity flavor, Simcoe character showing, certainly not overly bitter. Impressive Session IPA.

Brewdog beers are quite good, their IPAs are great so I chose this one without a single doubt about how Id feel about it. Im much more oriented toward strong beers but despite its quite low abv, this one had a pretty remarkable taste and a very sweet aroma. Clearly what you can expect from a good IPA, punchy hops, just a little bit of bitterness and a rather simple yet enjoyable taste in mouth. I cant say thats one beer Id choose among others in the future, but definitely one I enjoyed. APPROVED BY TAVERNYS BLACK METAL CREW!

Clear golden pour and big frothy head. Super sweet citris pine hoppy aroma. Sweet orange and hop bitterness upfront. Lingering fruity bite. Very well balanced. Big flavour for 3.8% ABV. Easy drinking.
