Amber with little white head. Aroma is bread, dough, butter cookies, some slightly exotic fruit, mango apricot. Taste is slightly stale bitter oily with some hints of fresh sour and sweet fruityness. Could have more lively carbonation. A tad watery and a bit flat. Still nice and enjoyable. Sammax_Brew (7) - - SEP 12, 2017 does not count
Erfrischendes, leichtes Sommerbier

From the can into a halfpint glass, at home.
Aroma: Mostly piney and resinous, with a little bit of caramel thrown in for good measure. Very appealing.
Appearance: A wonderful amber-gold body with an off white head that just about lingers on the top. Exactly what a beer should look like.
Taste: Wow! This surprised me a lot. This beer tastes much stronger than the 3.8% abv would have you believe. Almost like a watered-down Punk IPA, but not in a bad way! Slightly sweet to start, then a nice (but not overpowering) bitterness sets in. I could drink this all day... A great session beer!
Palate: Rather oily on the tongue due to the resinous hops, average carbonation that isn't too harsh. Slightly bitter aftertaste.
Overall: This is a great beer, and for a low percentage option, it's rare to find something so damn tasty. alexsdad06 (10583) - West Chester, Ohio, USA - SEP 10, 2017
Draft at Dutch's. Pours a clear amber color with a small off white head. The aroma and flavor have pale toasted malts, caramel, good hop character at 3.8%, some pine, grass, citrus, more pop than expected.

2. 9. 2017, Ljubljana. Canned. Interesting aroma, but a bit toned down. Taste starts with a bit of malt sweetnes, some hoppy end is added until finish, aftertaste being the blend of both sides. Toned down, not aggressive at all. Proper session brew I'd say.

UPDATED: SEP 2, 2017 Nothing pale about this ale, brown with a sparse head and a grassy aroma. It's all about the hops with a faint fruity undertone. This blurs the borders of pale ale and IPA. Who cares, it's delicious! p0urmeac0ld0ne (181) - Merthyr Tydfil, WALES - AUG 22, 2017
despite the fact that this is a very tasty and quaffable brew i can’t shake the feeling that this is literally a watered down version of punk IPA. nevertheless, it is a great session IPA with loads of bursting hop flavor. edit: the live version of this didn’t really do much to convince me that this was one of the better brewdog offerings, although the live promotional run did have a lovely pint glass to go with it! Frisch vom Hahn bei BrewDog Berlin. Sehr fruchtig im Antrunk. Sehr gut trinkbar und erfrischend. AleMan84 (12) - Greater London, ENGLAND - AUG 17, 2017
Aroma is very fruity and fresh, mango, pineapple, grapefruit with soft carbonation.
Taste is mango, pineapple followed by malt and hops with a medium bitter finish.
Very sessionable ale would buy again.
