COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Also known as ’Dead Pony Club’.

Bottle and keg: Filtered

Ingredients: Spring Blend, Cara and Crystal Malts; Simcoe, Citra and HBC hops.

This Californian Pale Ale packs a huge hoppy punch. A 21st century low amplitude, high voltage hop hit. Some people say slow is good. We believe fast is better. Being shot from a Hoppy Howitzer beats the hell out of trotting round a submissive paddock. That’s why the internal combustion engine got mounted onto two wheels. Screw down the throttle and listen for that dull banshee howl floating back from those malted mufflers. Drink fast, live fast, sleep late and rip it up down empty streets. This pale ale is chopped, tuned and ready to roll. Fuel up and hold tight, this little thoroughbred kicks like a mule. Perfect for drinking by the bottle, case or even keg.

UPDATED: NOV 4, 2017 Copper orange pour. Lively carbonation rising up from the bottom. Typical yet mild hops aromas of grapefruit and pine. Taste is a bit like the smell with some added caramel sweetness. Bit on the thin and watery side for my likings. Great to slam a few back of during summertime, nothing to go nuts over though.

Orange beer with a fluffy, sticky white head. Huge hop nose with citrus, tropical fruit and pine notes. It does drink a little watery, but not outside of typical session ipas. Bold hop juice flavors of tropical fruit, candied citrus and pine in the finish.

(8/4/7/5/16) Aroma : Herb, citrus, spicy like when you open a pack of hops. Appearance : gold-amber with light white head. Taste : quite bitter, a bit of pine too. Palate : outstanding, lasts long in the mouth with a taste of malt/wood.

330ml can. Pours a clear caramel gold with a thin white head. Aroma: citrus, grapefruit, pineapple, mango, mild pine and caramel malt notes. Nice aroma. Taste: citrus, mild pine, grapefruit and caramel malt flavours. Thin bodied. Mild carbonation. Mild bitterness. Watery texture. Easy to drink. Enough flavour to keep you interested. Very good for a 3.8% Session IPA.

UPDATED: OCT 13, 2017 Начал своё знакомство со стилем IPA с данного пива. Очень понравился цитрусовый вкус. Горчинка выражена не сильно, даже приятная для меня.

UPDATED: OCT 10, 2017 One of my favourite session ales. Hoppy and rich in flavour; easy to drink. Amber colouring, but not too dark. One of the best Brewdog drinks by and large.

Bottle. Pours amber with off-white head. Very strong hops aroma with some citrus. First impression is pure taste of hops, after a while gets more watery. Aftertaste has a little bitterness. Great start, but can't hold it throughout the entire drinking experience. Still quite good, after all.
