330 ml bottle as BrewDog Dog B @ The Local Pub, Athens Greece. Black as hell body with a deep brown head. Aromas of pepper, chocolate, coffe olives. Taste is pretty much the same, with coffee, cacao, chocolate and dark fruits on the front, followed by chilies and alcohol burning the neck. Strong aftertaste, bittersweet. Full body with low to medium carbonation.

Bottle at Beer Hunters. Dark brown color, tiny off-white head. Alcohol, dark malts, rye, whiskey in the nose. Medium-bodied to full-bodied. Burning alcohol, sticky mouthfeel. Dark malts, cyrup, cough syrup, some salt licorice. Way too alcoholic stuff.

Klsvart med helt brunt skum. Lav/medium hyde.

Bottle to snifter (shared with the Mrs; thanks DuffMan). Looks good; a slightly translucent dull dark coffee with mocha head that steadily dissipates into lacing. Smells good too; dark malt, chocolate, coffee (and roast), vanilla, and spice. Tastes like it smells with a rich, balanced mouthfeel. Great beer, and drinks much easier than its abv.

Bottle, Dog B. Dark body with low brown ring head. Aroma has a lot of coffee, toffee, chocolate, oak like character in the background. Kind of cocoa powder in the aroma. Taste has high caramel and alcoholic sweetness, pretty warm on the tongue, the chili is so well balanced, amazing. High on roasty bitterness as well. Dark chocolate in the long bitter after taste. Alcohol is evident. Body is full, oily, low carbonation.

[email protected] K, Kurvi. Deep brown color, practically no head. Strong, sweet aroma with alcohol and bitter, dark chocolate. The taste follows after the aroma with vanilla and oak. Very full body, very low carbonation. Beautiful.

Aroma is vanilla, black licorice, coffee and rich, rich malts. Taste is licorice and coffee right off the bat; not surprisingly there is some warm liquor snap on the tip of the rich almost chewy body. The appearance is black with a thin beige head that retains fairly poorly.

Huge beer- almost confrontational, like its poking you in the ribs for a reaction. Really liked the subtle burn on the back end with the chilies. Lots of chocolate, vanilla and roast. Didnt quite grab me by the shorts, but points for intensity.

Bottle with thanks to _angst_! Pours inky black with a reluctant small dark brown head that dissipates to a ring leaving good lacing. Aroma is deep milk chocolate, coffee, mocha, vanilla, roasted malts. Flavor is similar, hint of anise as well, medium sweet, medium bitter, rich cocoa coffee vanilla, with just a hint of chili burn on the finish; way more subdued on the chili than I expected. Finish is very strong roast, heavy lingering bitterness, some anise. There is some ABV burn, but deceptively little for 15%.

Stiff dark brown, light tan head. Boot in yer face dusty chilli bite. Sticky enough lifted by the spices. Holding up even more vibrantly than I recall. A real drumroll of spice on top of the dense, tanny malt. Finishes sweetly spicy. SPICE.
