Bottle from Vinmonopolet Storo enjoyed at home
Pours jet black with a brown head. Smells of roasted malts, coffee, some vanilla. Taste is heavy sweet, roast and toast, coffee, hints of chili, just that little nice sting there. Almost heavy bitter finish, some hops. A very nice imperial stout. A thick sticky malty soup with some chili. A wonderful beer; maybe a bit heavy on the alcohol but this is a real treat! More of this please

As BrewDog Dog A, bottled on 01/04/2012. Rated on 5 February 2017 as 2000th rating. Ive chosen this as my 2000th rating because respect Brewdog so much and this beer is in my cellar for so long (its 5 years old now). 33cl bottle at home from Only Good Beer, Budapest. Nose is coffee, silghtly liquourish, wood. Body is pitch black, head is small, brownish, creamy, mostly diminishing, good lacing. Aroma is tons of coffee, dark chocolate, tons of cocoa, roasted malt, light honey, vanilla, hint of chilli (rather pepper) comes later. Light sweet, heavy bitter. Finish is long lasting roasty and later hoppy medium to heavy bitter, alcohol is hardly noticable. Full body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Relative easy dessert beer, strong flavor, well balanced, one of the best imperial stouts Ive ever drunk, amazing.
