Brewed with ten different types of malt, and blended together with Scottish heather honey, it is a pantheon to the gods of intricacy and nuance; a beer that celebrates a confluence of ideas. History is written by the victors, and Dogma is Scotch Ale triumphant; evolved.
Complex, indulgent and encapsulating, Dogma gives more than a cursory nod to history, to make you ponder the very nature of beer itself.

Dark brown/mahogany colour, beige and shortlasting head, little traces of lace, medium to low carbonation. The aroma is sweet liquorice, plums, roasted malts, raisins and rhum. Very sweet, with very hidden hops, tastes like liquor, honey, burnt sugar and hints of coffee. Great overall, though slightly unbalanced. Very tasty, liked a lot.

Bottled, 330ml at The Brewdog Bar, Birmingham. Brown amber with vream head. There is a heavy, fruity aroma to this when pouring, almost Christmas pudding like, this leads to a rich fruity, caramel flavour, damson with peachy alcohol notes and a honeyed, vaguely sweet and smooth background. Rich, velvety notes. Good beer.

Bouteille 33cl, V&B Grenoble.

Bottle shared by Tmoney99 from notes. Pours a clear brown color with a small off white head. The aroma and flavor have caramel malts, toasted bread, honey, floral notes, some earthy notes, hint of smoke from the highlands, decent enough.

Entra deliciosamente bien.

Wooooow, what a surprise! Caramel, honey, vanilla, toffee, berries, chocolate! It’s absolutely incredible. Oily, almost medium/heavy body, great! Creamy and smooth. Soft, nice carbonation. It’s sweet, fantastic balance! I’m in love with texture of this beer! Long, long aftertaste! Will drink again!
