One day. One brewery. Seven thousand co-creators. Two hundred brewers. The result? Electric India. This beer is the bastard love child of the craft beer revolution.
An unholy union between a Belgian Saison and an India Pale Ale; democratically brewed by our very own Equity for Punks shareholders.
Electric India is a hoppy saison brewed with fresh orange peel, lashings of heather honey, crushed black pepper corns and enthusiastically hopped with mountains of amarillo and nelson sauvin.
A beer for the people, by the people direct from the craft beer republic of BrewDog.

330ml bottle from Vinmonopolet. Small white head. Dark golden/yellow hazy body. Aroma of dark fruits, alcohol and caramel malt. Some spicy hop bitterness. Slightly bitter in the mouth at first, then finishes off with a round aftertaste dominated by prunes.

Mad Dog Martin (23) - - SEP 17, 2017
UPDATED: SEP 17, 2017 Can from Sainsbo's. There's honey, loads of honey! And peppercorns. Honey and peppercorns! What an odd combination. It tastes wheaty and Belgian. It's meant to be an IPA-cross, but there's nothing of the IPA in it. Just honey, and peppercorns!

(Bottle, 6.5%) Golden yellow colour with big, frothy, white head. Fruity, spicy nose with peaches, mandarin, crisp-bread, coriander and flowers (jasmine). Fruity, spicy taste with notes of crisp-bread, orange peel, honey, herbs and a balanced floral bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with a touch of sweetness. Tasty and well balanced. Nice one.

Erzengel (9079) - Wuppertal, GERMANY - JUL 23, 2017
Old bottle with 7.2%, BBE was 07-06-14. Grainy hints of a Weizen-Bock, refreshing yeast, orange and honey there. Not much bitterness (left?), refreshing herbal with tropical aspects. Peach and ripe apple there, Mango as well. Interesting combination, refreshing and still great to enjoy.

Old backlog. Beautiful aroma of fruits and Belgian yeast followed by spices. Medium quite durable head. Hazy orange body. Amazing complex taste of fruits and yeast with full body and over-avarege bitterness combined with barnyard notes. Great fusion of best things of both styles.

Backlog. Very spice and cinnamon clove forward nose. Malt and bready like flavors come out as it warms. More spice on the finish. Feels too heavy for my kind of saison.

OminouSC2 (797) - Mora, SWEDEN - JUL 4, 2016
A nice looking beer, a bit hazy and and golden. Aromas of bread, citrus, some yeast. Taste is also citrus, a bit of spice. Somewhat bitter finish.

M_Sack (750) - Sydney, AUSTRALIA - FEB 12, 2016
Bottle. Gold, frothy white head and spotty lacing. Pepper and citrus peel dominate the aroma along with citrus hop. Initial hop bitterness, pepper, Belgian yeast, sweet honey backbone abc gentle bitterness to finish. I'm no hop freak, but it needed more bittering hops to clean up the sweetness from the honey. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
