COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Can, Bottle and Keg. An American IPA with a bitter edge that will push your citrus tolerance to the brink and back; Elvis Juice is loaded with tart pithy grapefruit peel. This IPA has a caramel malt base, supporting a full frontal citrus overload - grapefruit peel piled on top of intense us aroma hops. Waves of crashing pine, orange and grapefruit round out this citrus infused IPA.

UPDATED: DEC 6, 2017 Pours clear with a quickly subsiding small white head. Strange lemon caramel aroma. Unusual, artificial herby, watery lemon taste, not to my taste at all. No bitterness in the finish, how can this be called an IPA? Another taster commented that it was very childish in flavour. I certainly wouldn't buy this again.

Can from Systembolaget, Västerås. It is a nice beer with a good bitterness but the grapefruit is so evident that it becomes a bit like grapefruit squash (juice).

UPDATED: NOV 30, 2017 330ml can, 500ml draught on tap Pours semi-translucent light copper with a white head that fades quite quickly. Nose: Aroma of grapefruit, resin, pine and citrus from Simcoe, Amarillo and Citra hop varieties. Some caramel notes. Flavour: Bitter grapefruit zest, grapefruit juice, toffee, green apple, fresh herbs. Palate: Citrus bitterness, strong hop presence. Slight acidity, semi-dry finish. This beer would probably have impressed me without the fruit addition. It is far superior when fresh, so try catch this on tap.

I drink this a lot. Very grapefruity. Tastes healthy. A bit alcopoppy but solid. Grapefruit completely dominates.

330ml bottle. Pours a orange gold with a white head. Aroma: grapefruit, citrus, mild passionfruit and bready malt. Taste: grapefruit dominates. Citrus, mild passionfruit, biscuity malt, mild rock candy flavours. Medium bodied. Moderate carbonation. Mild to moderate sweetness followed by a mild bitter finish. Quite tasty. I prefer this to the other core Brewdog beers. This is a good and full flavoured IPA!

33cl bottle from Alko.
Poured deep golden color with a thick white head. Looks great.
Aroma has pink grapefruit, and alot of it. Perfumy notes even.
Grapefruit dominates too much. Malty backbone that's just barely noticeable. Juicy, refreshing brew.

maekchu (4064) - Hirakata, JAPAN - NOV 24, 2017
Can from Asahiya. Nose of pine, very earthy stone fruit (peach), citrus zest, and tropical fruit. Hazy orange/amber color. Oranges, zest, lemon, tangerine, grapefruit. Some bitterness in late mid and final. Fruity finish. Medium body. Canned in January, sampled in November -- so I imagine it's lost a bit of its initial zip.
