Bottle. shared with Simon at Round Tower Brewery. Thanks to Madmitch76 for this rare beer!
Good baige lacing and opaque black in appearance. Loads of chocolate chip cookies on aroma. Some toffee and caramel and oak chip too. Taste is woody, chocolate, caramel, licorice, leather and velvet. Some residual sugars and marzepan. Still some nice hop bitterness. Cold espresso finish which is long. Nice. zvikar (6198) - Ramat Gan, ISRAEL - NOV 22, 2014

Bottle at home whilst backlogging on the day that Leicester came from 2 behind to beat Man Utd 5-3, yes FIVE-3, massive thanks to Paulo Bropey for hooking me up with this CDA back cataloguer 21/09/14.
Black with a well formed tan head that dissipates then retains as spotting and edgework.
Nose is bitter hops, roasted tones, root liqourice, pine, treacle toffee, light spice, toasted malts.
Taste comprises red berry fruit pangs, roasty tones, cocoa rub, bitter tropicana, earthy hop tones, pine licks, light tea bag notes.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with an earthy hop rinse.
Decent enough CDA, the hops have faded a little but it’s held up very well for a 3 year old beer, not too shabby at all! kerenmk (4802) - Tel Aviv, ISRAEL - SEP 5, 2014

At a tasting, thanks Gunnar, very dark brown to black colour, almost no head, aromq of dark bread, dark caramel, cocoa and a touch of roastiness, flavour of prune and carob with some mocha in the back with a noticable roastiness, medium bitterness. Very nice but not a black IPA anymore. DSG (14921) - Tel Aviv, ISRAEL - AUG 22, 2014
Bottle sample at a tasting at Beer Market Jaffa. Thanks tomer. Clear brown. Aroma of roast, chocolate and some stale hops. Flavor of roast, chocolate and bitter hops, kinda stale. Medium-bodied. Very little hoppiness left, but it’s still a decent beer. Enjoyit (3809) - Vadum, DENMARK - MAY 26, 2014
Black of color with a brown head. An aroma of citrus, perfume, liqurice, sweets and ciffer. A flavor of Bay, liqurice, burnt, dry and bitter. allmyvinyl (10687) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - FEB 26, 2014
Bought a case of this before I was a shareholder, found it by accident on the site at about a quid a pop. Never really got the oak edge, but remember the massive piney hops. Twas good stuff. gEUS (1637) - Linden, BELGIUM - OCT 3, 2013
Bottle - sampled at home. Pours deep brown with a small lingering head. Nice thick lacing. Aroma of light malt, green paprica and fresh coffee beans slightly roasted. Light to medium body with a gentle roasty touch, nice sweetness and bitterness appearing as from the middle. Taste is crisp malts/toast and coffee. Balances on the edge with being a porter, but the hop character puts it right back to IPA. Very nice beer.
