Backlog, Bottle. hazy orange golden with a medium head. Nose is lime, grapefruit, honey, and grass. Flavor has more bite with some bitter hop resin, pine, grapefruit, and malt. Some toffee as it warms up. Alright

Review from notes - one of my first double ipas and one of my favourite back then with decent amount of bitterness, good drinkability and an overall feeling of drinking something different than I used to. With time I think it was a decent, but not amazing dipa.

Wow. That was not that I was expected. Last batch, the best that I have ever tasted. Really caramelly for first, huge body with a realy huge amount of bitterness at the end.

Bottle. Amber Gold in colour. Hoppy aroma. Very, very hoppy; very piney oily resinous hops. Very fruity; bitter grapefruit and lemon citrus, citrus peel. Malty base; lots of toffee, buttery caramel, toasty malts. Very bitter resinous hoppy and dry throughout. Lingering dry hoppy finish. Better beer and much better balanced than the original Hardcore IPA. Very drinkable. Lovely hoppy DIPA! (2010-01)
