This Imperial India Pale Ale Rocks... Hardcore! But dont feel obliged to take our word for it, this little bottle has a grandiloquent story to tell. 2,204 malted Maris Otter grains gave all they had to offer the world to provide the robustly delicate toffee malt canvas for the ensuing epic. 4 Hop Cones willingly sacrificed themselves in fiery cauldron that is our brew kettle to ensure your mouth is left feeling punished and puckering for more. 9,900,000,000 yeast cells frantically fermented their little hearts out as the sugars were magically turned into alcohol in the dark depths of our fermentation tanks. 2 humans and 1 canine companion are relatively happy with the results
Note this is for the new petrol blue coloured labels with white lettering, which is 9.2%. Ratings for the older bottles with with bright blue label and black lettering should go under the first edition.

Bottle. Fruit salad hop aroma, pleasant and round. Hazy red oorange amber, offwhite head. Pine and grass entry, fruity notes follow, light sticky caramel notes, peach, mango, dragonfruit notes. Grassy, earthy, pineneedle aftertaste. Chewy medium full body, well balanced and pleasant to drink.

Wow. Just wow. This packs an amazing punch at 9.2% but with such a flavour explosion its to die for. Even though its badged as Tesco double IPA you can tell its a Brew Dog a mile off! Its dark amber colour and amber tinged head hide the hoppiest beer youll probably ever have. Buy this beer right now unless youre afraid of flavour!

Bottle from local Alko. Dark to light orange color, small white head. Aromas of rye bread, sweet syrup, malts and hops. Flavor of malts, rye bread, strong hops, fruits. Malty for ipa and interesting in many ways.

12 oz. bottle. Pour is a murky orange amber, nice off white head that laces well. Aroma is loaded with resiny hops and sweet citrus. Pineapple, orange and mango with a piney bitterness. Taste is malt forward on the front end with caramel and sweet citrus. You get pineapple, orange and a touch of mango. After about 2 seconds this beer climbs this incredible hop ladder of spicy bitterness and tart citrus. A really pleasant combination of bitterness and sweetness after it fades. This is really good stuff, and having watched all the Brew Dogs episodes and the knowledge of beer they display, I'm really not surprised. Reminds me of the Weyerbacher Double Simcoe but more complex.

UPDATED: APR 10, 2014 Too dark, too strong for me. Best bit is the aroma. Taste isn?t great. Sticking to Punk IPA.

Pours a hazy orange. Has a strong floral hops aroma (typical of what youd expect with Brew Dog) with some pine and some fruits. Taste starts off briefly with citrus and floral hops and is immediately overwhelmingly bitter with mostly hops - and some malts and grain. A very long bitter aftertaste.

Buona birra, nonostante un Ibu 92 ha un aroma molto particolare, quasi non sembra un Ipa.

Pours hazy orangen slight off white head. Aroma is bready, caramel, earthy, citrus, slight pine. Taste caramel bready malt, followed by bitter earthy, citrus, piny hops, alcohol detectable. Mouthfeel on the thicker side of medium, alcohol warming, bitter hop bite, dry finish. Overall big, balanced tasty, almost up there with big top American doubles, not quite though.
