This Imperial India Pale Ale Rocks... Hardcore! But don’t feel obliged to take our word for it, this little bottle has a grandiloquent story to tell. 2,204 malted Maris Otter grains gave all they had to offer the world to provide the robustly delicate toffee malt canvas for the ensuing epic. 4 Hop Cones willingly sacrificed themselves in fiery cauldron that is our brew kettle to ensure your mouth is left feeling punished and puckering for more. 9,900,000,000 yeast cells frantically fermented their little hearts out as the sugars were magically turned into alcohol in the dark depths of our fermentation tanks. 2 humans and 1 canine companion are relatively happy with the results
Note this is for the new petrol blue coloured labels with white lettering, which is 9.2%. Ratings for the older bottles with with bright blue label and black lettering should go under the first edition.

12oz bottle. Aroma is a piney hop smell. Appearance is a murky bronze with a tan frothy head. Taste is piney hop bitter that finishes dry and bitter. Palate is hoppy, but not too much. Overall, a great ipa. Will buy again. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

An assault of tropical dank fruits and ethanol tones on the nose. Hella strong. Amber hue, with a half cm head which sticks around until you’ve drained the glass. The taste is a brilliant balance of sweetness, syrup, alchohol and a chewy, tropical fruitiness, with a little malt thrown in for good measure. You could almost bite into this beer. The mouthfeel is syrupy, with little carbonation and a sublimely warm and soothing boozy quality. Winner of a beer.

Bottle from Canal’s. Pours a nice dark copper color with a small white head. Aroma is white grapefruit, citrus zest, some dank resiny hops and a mild grainy note to it. Taste is a solid punch of bitterness, grapefruit, citrus rind, a mild touch of pine and some signs of alcohol lingering around, maybe a note or two of sweet toffee also. Solid effort.

pretty bitter with very metalic aftertaste. Darkish copper in colour. Low head. Aroma is fruity and citrus when taking deep breath.

Alcohol taste pulls down the assessment on an otherwise well-hopped brew that also gives the malt a good space. Bitter bomb that may molars to bounce.

Really bitter IPA with strong floral taste and fruity aroma. Full body with clear appearance. I Love this beer.

Hade höga förväntningar men ölen nådde inte hela vägen fram. Istället för riktigt bäsk uppfattade jag den som bitter. Riktigt god, men har druckit bättre i samma fack.

Pours clear amber with an ample white head and a few tiny bubbles floating to the surface. Aromas of pine and citrus prevail with some caramel notes. Terrifically balanced flavor with a hoppy profile up front that effortlessly transitions to a smooth malty finish. One of my favorite IPAs.
