This Imperial India Pale Ale Rocks... Hardcore! But dont feel obliged to take our word for it, this little bottle has a grandiloquent story to tell. 2,204 malted Maris Otter grains gave all they had to offer the world to provide the robustly delicate toffee malt canvas for the ensuing epic. 4 Hop Cones willingly sacrificed themselves in fiery cauldron that is our brew kettle to ensure your mouth is left feeling punished and puckering for more. 9,900,000,000 yeast cells frantically fermented their little hearts out as the sugars were magically turned into alcohol in the dark depths of our fermentation tanks. 2 humans and 1 canine companion are relatively happy with the results
Note this is for the new petrol blue coloured labels with white lettering, which is 9.2%. Ratings for the older bottles with with bright blue label and black lettering should go under the first edition.

Pours with nice bright amber color. Beige hezd that disappears quickly. Spicy, fruity, caramel aroma. Quite bitter. Maybe too syrupy for me, but thats normal for an IPA. Overall a nice beer to sip....slowly (9,2%)

Bottle from Dranken Verheyen in Poppel. The beer is clear red/amber colored and has a large broken white foam, with lots of bubbles. The aroma is malty and very fruity, with notes of citrus, tropical fruits, mango, passion fruits and a hint of spices and grass. The taste is light sweet, yet a little syrupy with notes of malts and a lot of fruits and caramel, but also notes of spices and pines with gives it a very extreme bitterness. Yet its in pretty good balance with the sweetness. The finish is very bitter and dry and is very long noticable.

A thick syrupy hardcore IPA. Well balanced as it is not too hoppy. Slight peach flavors however the malt comes through beautifully.

UPDATED: DEC 2, 2016 Bottle. Pours hazy orange/amber with foamy head. Complex aroma: hoppy pine and citrus, honey, caramel. Medium sweet with light bitter finish. Medium to full body, slick and a little sticky feel, soft carbonation. Overall very good beer, but I prefer IIPAs with more hops aroma and bitterness. 150 IBU? Would never guess. May have been too old.
