This Imperial India Pale Ale Rocks... Hardcore! But don’t feel obliged to take our word for it, this little bottle has a grandiloquent story to tell. 2,204 malted Maris Otter grains gave all they had to offer the world to provide the robustly delicate toffee malt canvas for the ensuing epic. 4 Hop Cones willingly sacrificed themselves in fiery cauldron that is our brew kettle to ensure your mouth is left feeling punished and puckering for more. 9,900,000,000 yeast cells frantically fermented their little hearts out as the sugars were magically turned into alcohol in the dark depths of our fermentation tanks. 2 humans and 1 canine companion are relatively happy with the results
Note this is for the new petrol blue coloured labels with white lettering, which is 9.2%. Ratings for the older bottles with with bright blue label and black lettering should go under the first edition.

UPDATED: OCT 18, 2017 Mr President. Bottle from Supermarket. Pours brown with reddish hue and nice cream-coloured head. Quite high carbonation and a fruity, sweet aroma that hits you. Taste is very bitter and tart. A distinctive, strong, citrusy taste with cherries, marzipan and nettles. No, really!

beermastersasho (126) - - OCT 12, 2017
Nice, beer, really hardcore and aggressive, it is huge. A lot of aromas, hops, its a little bit like a barley-wine. It is complex. I think this beer is underrated.

It's like Punk IPA on steroids! A rich amber colour with citrusy, hoppy notes on the nose. Fruity grapefruit and toasty malt upon first taste before a hoppy bitterness kicks in with a definite taste of booze on the finish.

emincems (110) - TURKEY - OCT 10, 2017
One of the most mouth puckering beers, IBU is 150; like a fist in the face! Duration of the foam is not long as I expected. Smell of dry hops is apparent; smells citrus and herbal because of centennial and columbus hops and there is some toasted sweet malts in background. Taste is grapefruit and slightly pineapple with pungent bittering hops. Overly sharp on the palate with dry lingering bitter finish. Medium to full body. Difficult to drink, but I like it.

Bottle in Inverness, Scotland, labeled Brewdog Mr. President. Pours amber-golden with a strong hoppy and citrus aroma. Flavor is an infusion of hops, quite strong, accompanied by citrus and a note of alcohol. Nice bitter, almost a little spicy palate. After all, this is a complex, hoppy brew, that is well worth a try.

Bottle. Aroma of citrusy hops, grapefruit zest, grapes, strong malty caramel. Full body, thick maltiness with huge bitterness. If U like heavy, full bodied iipa its perfect

Blastomorpha (114) - - AUG 26, 2017
The sweetness at the beginning is deceiving as the aftertaste is quite bitter with an little of alcohol too, but under control and not overwhelming. Not the best Imperial IPA I’ve had, but very well done. Get it before it’s too late..

IslandHaole (1290) - Misawa, JAPAN - AUG 26, 2017
Nice amber color with a beige foamy, short-lived head. Great aroma with a balanced mix of sticky sweet caramel and toffee malts and heaps of grapefruit peel hops. Rich and thick, sweet malts fill the mouth, the caramel is sticky sweet but gives way to industrial strength hops. Alcohol warming on the way down. Wow, this is one potent brew! I’m digging this one!

lkowalkowski (473) - POLAND - AUG 17, 2017
Bursztynowe, nieprzejrzyste. Bardzo ładna piana. Drobne i gęsta. W aromacie głównie iglaki, cytrusy. W smaku grapefruitowa goryczka. Znakomite!
