This Imperial India Pale Ale Rocks... Hardcore! But don’t feel obliged to take our word for it, this little bottle has a grandiloquent story to tell. 2,204 malted Maris Otter grains gave all they had to offer the world to provide the robustly delicate toffee malt canvas for the ensuing epic. 4 Hop Cones willingly sacrificed themselves in fiery cauldron that is our brew kettle to ensure your mouth is left feeling punished and puckering for more. 9,900,000,000 yeast cells frantically fermented their little hearts out as the sugars were magically turned into alcohol in the dark depths of our fermentation tanks. 2 humans and 1 canine companion are relatively happy with the results
Note this is for the new petrol blue coloured labels with white lettering, which is 9.2%. Ratings for the older bottles with with bright blue label and black lettering should go under the first edition.

12oz bottle from Tesco. BB 26/02/19. Pours copper with an off white head. Aroma is grapefruit. Flavor is caramel, grapefruit peel, grassy bitterness. Not amazing, but only a few 9+% IPAs are.

Had this as Brewdog Mr. President. Huge thanks to Erzengel for that one! Bottle looks really good. Beer in the glass zippy, nice head. Nice hoppy aroma. Starts strong, intense hoppy, fruity, lemon, some grapefruit. Light soapy-alcoholic hints, not too intense. Well balanced finish. Really nice!

UPDATED: MAR 25, 2018 330ml bottle (Mr President) from tesco. First foray into the world of DIPA. 1 finger of off-white foam with good retention and lacing. Dark amber and clear. A massive hop bomb of fruity aromas on the nose and mouth. Medium to full-bodied with sweet maltiness, some alcohol warmth and hoppy bitterness. Very enjoyable.

UPDATED: MAR 22, 2018 Bottle. Dark amber with lasting white head. Very very hoppy, caramel, spiced orange, alcohol burn but not unpleasant. Intensely bitter, fine carbonation. Great.

Bebible pese al alcohol y el cuerpo. Lúpulo a destajo no del todo bien mezclados para mi gusto.

Bottle of Mr President 330ml from Tesco, dark amber colour almost non existent head, nice taste a bit grapefruity, quite bitter you can really taste the alcohol content, smells almost like a spirit. My first double IPA, overall nice drink a bit strong for me but would buy again.

Erzengel (10257) - Wuppertal, GERMANY - MAR 12, 2018
Smooth and dry sticky beginning. Lots of hop oils there, deep and sticky. Long intense bitter aftertaste, hints of grain in the body with intense sticky pine and resin there. Long aftertaste. Great intense and sticky.

UPDATED: MAR 8, 2018 Love this IPA, super hoppy but fresh and tasty. Kind of a bitter after taste, but I like it.
