3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
330ml bottle. Pours a hazy deep amber, with a small off-white head, which lasts reasonably well and leaves acceptable lacing. Pine resin and fruity hops, blackberry and some sweet spice notes make up the aroma. Potent pine resin and lemon peel hops up front are tempered by mild sweet blackberry. The blackberry persists into the mid-palate, where it blends with biscuit and nutty malt notes. Mild blackberry, charry malt and pine resin hops create the finish. This is quite a good effort. The blackberry/bramble combines nicely with the hops and malt flavours without being too dominating.
330 ml bottle, BB date 18.09.13, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 8.2%. Hazy orange colour, moderate to low white head. Fruity aroma, more from the fruity hops than the brambles. Fruity and well hopped flavour, but not extreme. The brambles are only there in the background. "Dusty" and reasonably bitter finish. Nice enough to drink. Florya (2027) - Oslo, NORWAY - JAN 3, 2015

Draught at BrewDog Camden on 13 Oct 2012. Poured amber, with a dense off white head. Aroma of spruce, blackberries, pink grapefruit and herbs. Big citrus hop flavour, balanced with caramel, cooked fruit and chewy malt. Finish was toffee, bitter resin, berries and citrus peal. Stuu666 (14805) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - OCT 15, 2014

Bottle. This is a pretty decent beer, not my favourite from Brewdog but it sure hits the spot nicely.

Bottle. Slightly cloudy amber ale with a small white head. Typical Brew Dog pungent nose with tons of hops. Orange, mango, pineapple... and yes, blackberries! The blackberries really come into their own in the mouth though, they dominate and then the other hoppiness leaks through behind the charge. There’s a strong malt backbone there too and this turns from a blackcurrant wonder into a nice, surprisingly quaffable, brew. No big alcohol stings, no rush up the nose... a tasty triumph! Flaske 0,33l fra Vinmonopolet, Langnes. Drukket i Skibotn 22 Feb 13. Gyldenbrun. Litt uklar. Raskt dalende skum. Behagelig fruktaroma. Litt banan. Litt sitrus. Smaken det samme. Blir litt syrlig etter hvert. God balanse. Litt tørr fruktig ettersmak. Godt øl!

Several bottles from the online shop, and at least once in the Edinburgh bar. Golden amber pour, thin white head. Big grapefruit aromas, resin and light blackberries. Big sweet taste, followed by hop bitterness. Berries remained light. Not the best of this series. weark (879) - Morges, SWITZERLAND - JAN 14, 2014

Bottled 330ml @Beer Hunters
Clear amber color, steady white head. Gooseberries, citric nettles aroma. Medium-bodied. Sweet fruityness then dominating gooseberry-nettles hoppyness with some exotic fruits. Sweet lingering, light bitterness in the aftertaste. Very brewdogish.
