COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Keg & Bottle, Specially brewed by BrewDog’s Swedish importer at BrewDog, exclusivly for Sweden.
A double IPA with Cloudberries added to the conditioning tank. So just who is Ingrid? Perhaps she’s a reference to the Swedish silver screen icon or maybe it’s the line seemingly spoken by every other Swedish actress in films from the 60s and 70s (we know you know the ones we’re talking about). One thing is certain – this Swedish inspired Double IPA is not as innocent as she at first appears. A seductive body of rich malts and a buxom amount of Citra, Nelson Sauvin and Bramling Cross hops have been added to fresh Scandinavian cloudberries to deliver this beer’s raunchy tart finish. Designed by the readers of Swedish beer blog BeerSweden, ‘Hello, My Name is Ingrid’ is a celebration of all that is great about Sweden. It does not, however, contain any pickled herrings. Or meatballs.

12 ounce bottle poured a light amber color with aromas of citrus, pine, grapefruit, and light bread. Flavors are the same with some citrus and pine paired nicelt. A great DIPA.

Off-white frothy head stayed well on a still, murky light oak coloured body. Light fruity aroma with tropical fruits. Smooth, very smooth, minimal carbonation & a silky feel on the back. This is so subtle, light fruity tastes, berries, & absolutely no alcohol flavours.

Pours beautifully in amber with white firm head. Malty notes mix with hops and also the cloudberries are present. Taste sweetish but not annoying and hops to go. Palate longer and remaining fresh with light hoppy notes.

Batch 160508, best before 30/07/17, aperta il 25 dicembre 2016. Corpo medio, mediamente carbonata.

JoTheO (208) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - DEC 2, 2016
Bottle 330 ml of 2016 edition. Amber with a fluffy white head. Plenty of hops, but not much of the cloudberries (original edition had obvious cloudberry notes, but maybe they’ve become too expensive to chuck in a brew). A decent DIPA nevertheless.

330ml bottle from BrewDog online. Clean and clear golden colour with an off-white head, good retention and lacing. Aroma: fruity, citrus and tropical, berries, malt. Taste: juicy fruits, slightly tart berries, grapefruit, nice malty base, pine, some alcohol obviously. Bitter and hoppy, medium bodied, soft carbonation, bitter aftertaste. Loved this, has to be one of my favourite beers from BrewDog so far.
