COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brewed exclusively for the Dutch market, this Hello My Name brew features a twist of flavour inspired by the Netherlands.
Orange interplays with sweet tropical fruit and resinous hoppy notes. A warming malty backbone supports a dry, bitter finish.

December 2017 - Tasting at One Canada Square. Bottle shared with big thanks to Mr Frog. As 'BrewDog Hello, My Name Is Lieke'. Dark yellow, clear and still, foamy off-white head. Aroma is grapefruit, orange peel, sort of has an 'essential oil' fakeness. Body is frothy with soft to tingly carbonation. Taste is quite papery, light malt character, dry-spicy-dusty versus orange peel and orange essential oil. It's OK. (7-4-6-3-14=3.4)

@ Amsterdam 17-11-27 (backlog rating): Veldig mycket frukt och kanske lite för lite humle. Ok men inget mer

Heidbummer (976) - SCOTLAND - JAN 2, 2018
Bottle from Brewdog. Pours orange/gold, thin head, a bit undercarbonated for me. Nice tangerine/orange opal fruits aroma. Taste is a good balance of oranges, malt, bitterness, but it's a little thin and a little flat for a DIPA for me.

Bottle shared on Level 42, Christmas tasting 18/12/2017. Many thanks! A clear mid golden coloured pour with a loose white head. Aroma is fresh orange rind, orange juice, breakfast orange, solvent, simple malts. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, orange rind, citrus, little artificial, citrus. Harsh bitterness, little solvent. Palate is semi sweet, moderate carbonation, frothy. Not bad.

18Dec2017 Intense citrus fruits, juicy orange, tangerine, orange candy. Clear gold, small, creamy, white head. Light bitter. More bitter, zesty citrus fruits, orange, orange peel, candied orange, grain malts, soft carbonation, medium bodied. Decent, yet again as typical for the series, a touch one-dimensional. Bottle shared at Level 42 - thanks to mr_fr0g!

Bottled 330ml (thanks BD)
Clear amber colour, small white head. Citrus, some fruityness and orange in the nose. Medium-bodied. Zesty, tropical fruits, orange and then some pine and resin. Clean. Solid bitter aftertaste. As other new Hellos, quite light palate for ABV. Orange works here nicely.

Leighton (22773) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - DEC 18, 2017
Bottle shared in London - thanks to Fergus. Pours clear gold with a frothy, white head. The aroma holds orange, yuzu fruits, lime. Light to medium sweet flavour with assertive rindy bitterness, ripening citrus fruits, more yuzu, tangerine. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Zesty, pithy citrus in the aroma, some grassy bitterness, gooey white grape. Not bad.
