This Christmas, wish for a green Christmas. Where flurries of hop flakes blanket the world like youve never seen it before. And crunching through crisp, sparkling drifts releases billows of pineapple, citrus and papaya with every step. The reign of the snow angel is over. Long live the hop angel where parks and playgrounds become adorned with the outlines of celestial beings that fell to Earth from angry looking emerald clouds. Tune in to breakfast TV to find lifes on hold for 24 hours as this hop day demands you rocket down a hill on the back of a baking tray. Or simply raise a glass of this festive IPA as we wish you a very hoppy Christmas.

Fresh fruity hoppy aroma with some reshly cut grass and "green hops" bordering on dill. The hop aroma is held back in the taste, hop resin finish with a fairly thick body and mellow bitterness.

Bottle. Pours a pale copper with a nice cloudiness. Aroma. Strait away i get a whiff of tropical flavours, followed by pine and citrus. Taste. The taste is very complex and is quite similar to the marketing description, this is a beer dominated by piney flavours complimented well with tropical, stone and citrus fruits, im very surprised that a single hop ipa could be so complex. Overall. This beer is faultless, i would love to see it as a permanent addition to brew dogs range.

33 cl bottle from Uba ja Humal in Tallinn ( 2.49 - on sale). BB Sept 2015. Amber with minimal haze. Head off-white with moderate retention and some lacing. Aroma is thick of floral sweetness, tropical fruits like mango and peach, citruses as in grapefruit, a bit of musky notes, and some spiciness as its warmed. Taste is tropical fruit, malt and marmalade sweetness running amok, with quite a lot of citrusy bitterness, but not nearly enough to cover up all that sweetness. Body medium, carbonation modest, palate slick. A very sweet yet not exactly sugary IPA. Its just too mawkish for my taste, kind of like overripe mango and peach, especially on the nose. But overall... nice! Why this is a winter seasonal brew I have no idea.

I loved this IPA from Brewdog. The second best one with the Jack Hammer. Ive been quite disappointed with this brewery lately, but this one is really good! Nose full of pineapple, taste very balanced with a light bitterness. A great and very well balanced IPA which is hard to find!
