Kleur is oranje/goud achtig. Aroma is tropisch fruit en perzik. Smaak is perzik en tropisch fruit. Afdronk is licht bitter. Mondgevoel is veel medium met redelijk tot veel koolzuur. Zeer goede IPA. LazyPyro (1099) - Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, ENGLAND - DEC 22, 2016
330ml bottle. Pours clear amber with a small off-white head. Aroma: hops, citrus, pineapple, pine, some tropical fruits maybe. Taste: piney hops, citrus, grapefruit, mango, fruity and tropical. Pleasant bitterness and a long finish, medium body and carbonation. Actually a really nice IPA - absolutely no idea what makes it Christmassy though, seems like the sort of beer I’d happily drink all year round. Michael27 (1874) - Berlin, GERMANY - DEC 22, 2016
Aus der Flasche getrunken (Direktlieferung von BrewDog). Klares Amber mit weißer Schaumkrone. Der Simcoe liefert eine schöne fruchtige Nase. Im Nachtrunk intensive Graoefruitnoten. jonno (2751) - JAPAN - DEC 22, 2016
I love it but I do not. Rich toffee body and the skunk hops are there, very green, though this is more balanced affair than your typical hop monster. Quite charming, but I wouldn’t want to drink it year round. Alengrin (5235) - BELGIUM - DEC 20, 2016
Draught at BrewDog Brussels. Single hop IPA with Simcoe. Lacing, moussy, dense and very stable, snow white head, orange blonde robe, hazy with a somewhat olive green-like hue. Aroma of mango, lychee, sweet onion, lime zest, wormwood, a lot of grapefruit, orange peel, tonic water, biscuit. Lively, fruity onset, lots of mango, passion fruit and lychee, subtle, lime-like sourish edge, smooth mouthfeel with medium carbonation, biscuity middle, pleasant with a sharper grainy edge somewhere, supporting an oily, very aromatic, vivid hoppy finish, releasing a lot of retronasal grapefruit and mango again, as well as providing a long but gentle bitterness. Simcoe at its most elegant, but perhaps a bit subdued, could have been more outspoken to my taste. The link with Christmas escapes me completely apart from the ’green hop’ aspect as stated, but that can be said of any - BrewDog or other - IPA...

330ml bottle. Clear, copper colour with a light white head. Fruity alcohol aroma, flavour delivers on the hoppiness, over a caramel base. Not just for Christmas jasonbenali (200) - Kent, ENGLAND - DEC 15, 2016
Pours a clear amber with a thin white head and medium carbonation.
Aroma is pineapple, pine, caramel, lime and burnt orange. Taste is quite sweet with a dry, bitter and good length finish. Nice lingering caramel on the tongue. Light, but not too thin.
Nice, drinkable, if not spectacular IPA, and the finish is the (Christmas) star.

Color ambar, sabor frutal, caramelo, cuerpo medio. JackMandarin (362) - Aberdour, SCOTLAND - DEC 12, 2016
Bottle from local Aldi. Pours crystal clear. Light amber. Wee tightly-knit head. Leaves a little layer behind. Off-white. Aroma has the dank in good measure. Solidly Simcoe. A little sweaty. A little pissy. Warm with a little of that alcohol. Tropical and fruity with kiwi, light peach, papaya and mango. Pine presence. Lots of fruity Starburst sweets on the nose. Taste has a fruity candy thing. Syrupy sweet with a little acidity. Darkish marmalade. Tea bread malt. Pine juice. Pithy dryness comes through after a bit. Well integrated bitterness. Good medium to light spritz on the carbonation. Smooth and syrupy body of medium weight. Drying, crisp finish with length. Very drinkable IPA, but......the most festive thing about it is that there’s snowflakes on the label....... jiwookdo (74) - changwon, SOUTH KOREA - DEC 11, 2016
