Tune in to breakfast TV to find lifes on hold for 24 hours as this hop day demands you rocket down a hill on the back of a baking tray. I bought this at Amstein, I drank it at Paris, in my room hotel. In my personnal view, it is an interesting IPA, I could say original for the style maybe it is due the simcoe hop. The taste is at the beginning a bit tough but after it is showing pleasant notes of bitterness, there is a side mineral, slightly sour, hoppy, grapefruit notes, few touch of mango, malt, normal carbonation, thin and white foam, a bit watery and the final is a bit dry. It is a regular one not the most easy for the beginners in this huge world of the beer.

Pleasant, strongly hopped and piney but a bit lacking in body and character with a slightly chemical aftertaste. Vague dried fruit and orange flavours give it the Xmas vibe

Bottle 0.33L. Slightly hazy, amber body with an average, creamy, off-white head, mostly lasting with some nice lacing. Moderate-to-heavy hoppy (grapefruit) and light-to-moderate malty aroma with notes of fruits. Moderate-to-heavy bitter and moderate sweet flavour with an average-to-long lasting bitter finish. Medium body with oily texture; soft carbonation.

I guess its Christmas in Brussels in February. Slightly opaque bronze. Creamy little head. Colossal pineapple aroma. Taste is a bevy of tropical fruit with a moderate level of sweetness and a slightly dry finish.

Pours clear golden with decent white head but diminishes quickly. Aromas of orange peel and grapefruit with a hint of malt. Medium carbonation and mouth feel. Taste is orange and Pineapple hops before a citrus/pine wave. Fairly Dry and bitter finish.

UPDATED: FEB 6, 2017 Color Biondo scuro, ben velata. Schiuma bianca a grana fine. Aroma di spezie, agrumi, pino, buoni sentori erbacei. Niente male al palato, beverina, leggermente speziata ma le note principali sono di pino e agrumi. Buona per la parte dolce e tropicale che si avverte sul finale. Carbonazione ottimale.

A solid IPA. Not remotely "Christmassy," but tasty, with lots of hops and a rather pleasant mouthfeel. It was a good beer that I thoroughly enjoyed. It just didnt put me in the "Christmas Spirit."

Bottle at The Red Lion, Leek (Hydes) Pours a clear golden colour with a frothy white head. Aroma of grapefruit, orange, pine, some pineapple, a little papaya, slight toasted malts and subtle spicy hops. Taste of grapefruit, orange, papaya, some pine, slight pineapple, a little toasted malts and subtle spicy hops. Medium bodied and an oily texture. A dry, slightly piney, citrusy hop bitterness in the finish. A simple but well made IPA, tropical fruit and citrus hops with subtle pine and some toasted malts. Not a Christmas beer but good otherwise.
