COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bottled;
Oblivious to accountant’s interfering and conventional corporate wisdom we do not cut corners like other Lager producers and use malt substitutes like corn and rice to keep our costs down. Our Lager has 100% malt base providing an fresh, sharp initial sweetness and a body and flavour, which endures where others prematurely disappear into a watery bland grave. A combination of the finest German and New Zealand hops add subtle tropical fruit notes and add complexity and depth to this most statuesque of Lagers.

Bottle at Cockney Pub, Århus. Pours golden with a tiny white head and a hint of lacings. Sweet and fruity with some bitterness. Strong hopsaromas. Also hints of sweet apples. Tiny hint of eggs. Medium body. Very soft carbonation. Some sharpness in the finish.

Batch: 084; Best Before: 24/july/09; Slightly cloudy deep golden coloured body with orange highlights and almost no head at all - pretty still. Aroma of super strong manuka (okay, any kind) honey, lemons, oranges, malt and way way way more honey - pretty awesome. Light-bodied; No carbonation! Pale malt up front with a little bit of hops, a bunch of citrus fruit following, all rounded up with of course - HONEY. Aftertaste very dry, showing some grass and hay, yeast and a bunch of citrus flavours. Overall, a pretty good beer, minus the lack of carbonation. Granted, my bottle might have been a bit undercarbonated, but I’m curious if anyone else sampled from my batch? I sampled this 330 mL bottle purchased from the Utobeer Market Stall in Borough (London), England on 13-December-2008, sampled at home in Washington, DC on 05-February-2009.

Alphadelic (2249) - Portland, Oregon, USA - JAN 13, 2009
A light and slightly hazy lager with a few lonely looking bubbles up top. Light and fresh with great set-honey aromas and an inkling of dusty hay. Bright sweetness with light cereals followed by beautiful, rich honey flavours in the finish. Smooth and easy. I’m not often big on anything honeyed but if it has to be done this is how it should be done.

imdownthepub (15161) - Banbury, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - JAN 13, 2009
Bottled, 330ml from Westholme Stores, Goring, Oxon. Hazed yellow gold with white head. Striking lager with plenty of flavour, light, citric lemony initially on quite a chunky malty body. I was going to put, develops into a tropical fruit flavour before I saw the notes above, now i will stick to Kiwi fruit and lychee. Lasts well, a very pleasant Premium Lager.

bozoNZ (778) - Christchurch, NEW ZEALAND - DEC 21, 2008
330ml bottle, light lemon fruity aroma. Pale yellow, murky with a head a flinsy as a lace nighty. Quite a lemon merange sort of flavor. Fermented tropical fruits. Kind of like week old fruit salad. funky but Im not sure that it was intended that way...

Bottle at Cockney Pub, Århus
Golden color. The aroma is lightly grassy. It has a good body, with some malt flavor, good bitterness, lightly fruity.

Miksu (5053) - Jyväskylä, FINLAND - DEC 7, 2008
0.33 l bottle. Slightly hazy pale golden color with small head. Weird aroma with lemon, pineapple, tar fruitiness and butter. There is a tropical fruit nectar flavor with honey, medium bitterness and butter. Hints of petrol in the finish. Light bodied with soft carbonation. I like the idea of tropical fruits in a lager but the butter aroma and flavor really puts this off and there should be more bitterness as well as more german hops for a balance.

berkshirejohn (6618) - Bracknell, Berkshire, ENGLAND - DEC 5, 2008
[330ml bottle.] Golden straw with a quickly fading white head - moderate carbonation - intense floral hop aroma - sharp hoppy flavour to start with, developing a thick and malty body with tropical fruits - then a sharply bitter finish like a good bitter orange marmalade. Better than the average lager!

saxo (19357) - Højbjerg, Aarhus, DENMARK - OCT 28, 2008
Bottle. Medium head with medium duration. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are malt and fairly rich with hops.
