COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bottled;
Oblivious to accountant’s interfering and conventional corporate wisdom we do not cut corners like other Lager producers and use malt substitutes like corn and rice to keep our costs down. Our Lager has 100% malt base providing an fresh, sharp initial sweetness and a body and flavour, which endures where others prematurely disappear into a watery bland grave. A combination of the finest German and New Zealand hops add subtle tropical fruit notes and add complexity and depth to this most statuesque of Lagers.

albertane (377) - Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, ENGLAND - MAR 15, 2008
Cask at the Leicester Beer Festival. This was my second cask lager of the night, and although it’s enjoyable, I still favour blonde ales. HopRocker has a good pale golden colour and an aroma of grass and hops. The flavour has some earthy qualities but is dominated by fruit, especially grapefruit or orange hop notes. Very good for a lager, which is far from being my favourite beer style.

Joeh (2049) - Buckinghamshire, ENGLAND - JAN 31, 2008
Bottle. Slightly grassy, hoppy aroma. Sweet and a little grainy to taste, bitter finish. Not fantastic.

3.3
DruncanVeasey (8226) - NUNEATON, Warwickshire, ENGLAND - JAN 19, 2008
Bottled. Very pale and faintly misty. Grassy, lemony, slightly sweaty hop aroma. Intense, mandarin-accented hop (pellet?) biiterness not a million miles from Wesvleteren Blond. Honeyish, floral, but above all hoppily biitter. IBUs challenging the Punk IPA. Full-on, tasty, slightly biting lager/pilsner/blond with a splash too much quinine.

3.5
Svesse (8599) - Hässelby, SWEDEN - DEC 16, 2007
(Cask at Wenlock Arms, London, 1 Dec 2007) Golden yellow colour with brief, white head. Fruity nose with apricots, citrus and generous amounts of grassy hops. Fruity taste with notes of apricots, citrus and lots of floral hops in the finish. Resting on a solid malt foundation with decent amounts of residual malt sweetness. Nice, hoppy beer, possibly a hint too sweet.

Rastacouere (6177) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - DEC 3, 2007
Light honey coloured lager that feels like an ale with its fruity and sweet flavour profile. Gently bready on the tongue and more aggressive as the finish approaches and unveils a growing mass of grassy and floral hops that manage to cut through the otherwise disturbingly sweet palate – the finish is dry and more satisfying. Clean and consistent carbonation, rather full-bodied. Pleasant, but ale-like rather than focused on ingredients’ purity.

SHIG (4962) - Wasilla, Alaska, USA - DEC 3, 2007
Bottle: Poured a golden color with a white head. The aroma is hoppy and spice. The taste is smooth with continued spice and hops. Very balanced.

Fukito (1059) - Santiago, CHILE - NOV 27, 2007
Bottle, at Chris´s, october 07. Golden, shinny color with a medium, fluffy white head. Aromathic, spicy hops aroma. Peppery, flowery hops flavor with a slight malty note. Medium mouthfeel, full hoppy spicyness with a dry, perfect balance. Excellent cross between a czech and german lager.

3.3
Ungstrup (37583) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - NOV 23, 2007
Bottled. A golden beer with a beige head. The aroma is sweet with grassy hoppy notes. The flavor is sweet mlaty with strong notes of hops giving it a flowery note, before a very dry and bitter finish sets in.

SilkTork (5737) - Southampton, United Kingdom, Hampshire, ENGLAND - NOV 19, 2007
London Shindig, August 2007 Full bodied and hoppy beer which tastes more ale than lager. - fruit and hops. OK. [2.6]

3.3
RichardGretton (4770) - Leicestershire, ENGLAND - NOV 6, 2007
Bottle. Pale lager with a light head. The aroma is complex, fruity, warming, roasted and lightly dry. The flavour is quite bitter with a fruity and hopped feel. Overall a reasonable beer.
