Bottled at Bon Accord, Glasgow. Golden colour, rich head. Grapefruity aroma. Medium sweet, fruity and hoppy. Medium bodied with slick, lighlty buttery malt. Rather bitter finish. Typical modern style hoppy lager, and a good one at that. Papsoe (25056) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - JUL 20, 2008
(Bottle 33 cl) Courtesy of yespr. Slightly hazy pale golden with a small white head. Sweetish malty nose. Medium body with rather sweet malts and a hoppy finish. Carbonation is rather low. A disappointing BrewDog. 250308 chriso (21656) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - SEP 2, 2007
Bottle, at London Shindig, August 2007. Much of the attention on BrewDog beers is focused on the Paradox, but this is a quite revolutionary beer in its own way (for the UK). A big hoppy lager. Not many of those around in these parts. Pale gold, with a thin white head. Mix of bready malt and grassy hop on the nose. The grassy, spicy hops come through much more strongly in the flavour. Decent, firm mouthfeel. A tasty lager - a rare beast in the UK.
