Keg at BD Soho, 15/05/17. Reddish amber with a decent light beige cap. Nose is berry fruit esters, sweet malt, floral, caramel. Taste comprises biscuit, caramel, cheesecake base, light spice, less red berry notes than the nose, earthy hop dusting, toasted brown sugars. Medium bodied with bite, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a light boost offered. Ok but doesn’t deliver a lot on the ABV in terms of flavour profile and complexity.
