Draught at Akkurat, Stockholm. Intense citric hops on caramelly malt. Sweet and full bodied with clean rounded mouthfeel. American strong ale personified. Salty gooseberry, lychee and caramel. Big and bold, completely detached from Scottish brewing traditions. A competent, hoppy big ale with severe bitterness and both feet in the US west coast school of brewing.

Nate2Gs Birthday Bash at Kernel. Thanks to Scopey for coming up trumps with this one that sold out on the BrewDog website in about 5.5 hours! Clear amber beer, good yellow-tan head. Light dry palate. Nice caramel malt with lovely rich orangey hops. Deep marmalade. Semi dry finish. A very good amber!
