3.9 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 14/20
Intense aroma, golden ale, nice tight head from a sparkler dispense. Light body and very refreshing. Tasty
Tasted this in the Bon Accord, Glasgow in April 2009. Cask, handpump dispense. Rich golden yellow in colour with a thick white head. Strong and intense aroma of juicy grapefruit, lychees and pineapple. Refreshing creamy mouthfeel and good lacing. Pale malts give a robust biscuit malty base with zesty lemon cheescake, lime and golden syrup. Fragrant floral hop resins match the citric fruity malt well to give a bitter aftertaste. Excellent rounded finish with fruit salad notes. A cracking golden session ale and highly recommended. DJMonarch (9179) - Northwich, Cheshire, ENGLAND - JUL 12, 2009
Cask Handpump at the Bar Fringe, Manchester 15/10/2007
Hoppy aroma. Small white head. Clear golden coloured hoppy and fruity with some roast in a crisp and bitter malt finish. Bullit (4686) - Buffalo, New York, USA - JAN 29, 2009
Cask @ Bon Accord. Dark golden colour, small dense white head. Aroma is hoppy and flowery. Flavour has flowery hops. Bitter and dry finish. I like the decent amount of hops used. albertane (377) - Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, ENGLAND - OCT 5, 2008
Cask at the Alexandra Hotel, Derby. This golden beer is almost an American pale ale in flavour. It’s profoundly bitter, with grapefruit and tropical fruit flavours. Like most BrewDog beers, it’s intensely flavourful, and not perhaps to everyone’s taste, but it suits mine. harrisoni (19318) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - APR 23, 2008
Cask handpull at The Rake. Gold, thin beige head. Buttery diacetyl aroma. Rest of the beer is ok with some biscuit and some bitterness. Beer is ok, but aroma is just too buttery for me. Will pormise to re-rate if/when I see it again.

Looks a nice deep golden colour.
Nose is an explosion of tropical fruits - lychee, kiwi, pnaapple - they are all there.
The malts play their part too though - as the wonderfully fruity hops combine with the buiscuity malt. just the right amount of bitterness - great cask ale! downender (8882) - Bristol, Gloucestershire, ENGLAND - MAR 1, 2008
Cask-conditioned at The Bag O’Nails, Bristol 1/3/08. Deep gold colour with a slight white head. Big grapefruit and elderflower aroma. Full mouth feel, with a sweet malt flavour and intense, citrus hop finish. Excellent. Rogermoore (34) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - JAN 25, 2008

(Cask at Wenlock Arms, London, 1 Dec 2007) Golden yellow colour with frothy, white head. Fruity nose with notes of citrus, lemon and loads of floral hops. Fruity taste with citrus (lemon, grapefruit, mandarin peel) and lots of floral, citrussy hops in the finish. Slightly soapy mouthfeel. Lovely hoppy character. Very nice beer.
