Keg, special.
Our Imperial Pilsner is a 10% hop monster brewed with wicked American hops; Simcoe, Cascade and Amarillo). And them dry hopped with favourite American hops, most of which being with C (Chinook, Centennial, Cascase and Cimcoe (Simcoe actually)). We put so much dry hops in it that we only got a 55% yield from the already batch. We dont care, it tastes awesome.

Draught at BrewDog Camden on 12 Jun 2012. Poured a clear, deep golden colour, with a thin white head. Aroma of tangerine, intense lager malt and pine. Really smooth once you take a sip, with flavours of raisins, apricots, honey, fruity esters and grain. Finish was rounded alcohol, tinned fruit and resin.

On tap @ BrewDog, Camden. A crystal clear golden one with a nice medium sized off-white head. A bit low on the aroma, but I get hoppy and grassy tones. Also hints of caramel, zesty melon yeast and thats it. Yep, its an imperial pilsner alright, but still I dont find it too boozy or sweet. Alcohol hits the taste buds first, then some clear yeasty thing that continues. Light sweet in the finish. 20.07.2012

250ml from tap at the BrewDog bar in Manchester. Bright golden body with a small, bubbly white head. Aroma of grass and pine with a subdued hint of alcohol. Hoppy taste offering notes of pineapple and lemon and bitter, dried fruits towards the ending. Integrated, but noticeable alcohol. Rather unusual for a pilsner type of beer. Fine partner to my cheese platter. 07.07.2012.

Off keg at Brewdog Manchester. Not bad, very strong for the style. Lots of pine flavours.

Tap, Brewdog Camden. Medium gold, thin head. Heavily astringent aroma, lime and pine cleaner with some honey. Bitter, more honey, and celery. Finish is medium dry with a numbing end.

Pint at Brewdog Camden. It pours a clear golden colour with a medium white head. Aroma is mainly hops and booze. Some floral quality to it as well. Taste is lightly cereals, some flowery notes and hops. Booze is quite obvious but in a good way. Body id quite full with good carbonation. Overall, interesting but not my favuorite style for sure.

At Brewdog Camden - 2 ruinous halves, the second courtesy of Keen Massey - cheers mate! Clear gold beer, good white head. Smooth palate, soft bit with a crisp trailing edge. Nelson Sauvin skunk. A little pine, grass and mild orange citrus. Subtle tropical fruits and then floral notes with a trace of mint. Subtle red fruits in the finish. A wonderfully complex beer, every mouthful full of interest and so dangerously drinkable with that minty coolness. Superb!

Keg at BrewDog Camden. It pours clear golden yellow, with a thick white head. The nose is rather complex: Brasso, grass, wood, dough, hay, perfumed, sweet ambergris, sage and floral notes. The taste is grass, orange, underlying white sugar, dough, straw, herbal, hay, resinous hops and lemon zest, with a bitter-dry finish. Well-hidden alcohol. Medium body and fine carbonation. Interesting nose, but this is not my sort of thing.
