At Brewdog Camden - 2 ruinous halves, the second courtesy of Keen Massey - cheers mate! Clear gold beer, good white head. Smooth palate, soft bit with a crisp trailing edge. Nelson Sauvin skunk. A little pine, grass and mild orange citrus. Subtle tropical fruits and then floral notes with a trace of mint. Subtle red fruits in the finish. A wonderfully complex beer, every mouthful full of interest and so dangerously drinkable with that minty coolness. Superb!
Keg at BrewDog Camden, London. Pours a bright, honey-yellow with a soft, white foam head. Lots of fresh hops in the nose, with a character very typical of BrewDog - lightly pissy with some grass and ripe citrus, orange. Nice flavor, quite bold and sweet, some strong sugars, white bread malts, grass, ripe orange, wet pine. Full bodied, slightly syrupy with fine to average carbonation. Warm to finish with definite alcohol notes, plenty of resinous pine and grass, some old urine, overripe tangerine. A very strong, sweet, interesting beer. I would never guess this is a lager. Keg at BrewDog Camden. It pours clear golden yellow, with a thick white head. The nose is rather complex: Brasso, grass, wood, dough, hay, perfumed, sweet ambergris, sage and floral notes. The taste is grass, orange, underlying white sugar, dough, straw, herbal, hay, resinous hops and lemon zest, with a bitter-dry finish. Well-hidden alcohol. Medium body and fine carbonation. Interesting nose, but this is not my sort of thing. Stuu666 (14805) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - OCT 15, 2014
Keg at Brewdog Edinburgh. Pours golden, nose is pine, grapefruit, taste is fruity, hoppy.

250ml from tap at the BrewDog bar in Manchester. Bright golden body with a small, bubbly white head. Aroma of grass and pine with a subdued hint of alcohol. Hoppy taste offering notes of pineapple and lemon and bitter, dried fruits towards the ending. Integrated, but noticeable alcohol. Rather unusual for a pilsner type of beer. Fine partner to my cheese platter. 07.07.2012. teorn88 (8066) - Rimini, ITALY - JUL 11, 2012
Pint at Brewdog Camden. It pours a clear golden colour with a medium white head. Aroma is mainly hops and booze. Some floral quality to it as well. Taste is lightly cereals, some flowery notes and hops. Booze is quite obvious but in a good way. Body id quite full with good carbonation. Overall, interesting but not my favuorite style for sure. Keg @ BrewDog Glasgow. Rich yellow colour, good head. Citrus pine aroma. Big flowery fruity flavour. Strong sweet citrus aftertaste. I don’t normally like beer this stron but this is a good one. Palme (4823) - Bergen, NORWAY - NOV 2, 2012
On tap @ BrewDog, Camden. A crystal clear golden one with a nice medium sized off-white head. A bit low on the aroma, but I get hoppy and grassy tones. Also hints of caramel, zesty melon yeast and that’s it. Yep, it’s an imperial pilsner alright, but still I don’t find it too boozy or sweet. Alcohol hit’s the taste buds first, then some clear yeasty thing that continues. Light sweet in the finish. 20.07.2012 BenH (3434) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - MAY 31, 2012
Golden with white head. Nice big hoppy aroma, pine, grapefruit, little pissy, lemon, little mustiness, little floral. Taste is a bit less sharp, malt more present and some lager yeast character comes through, still quite hoppy, citrus. Not particularly bitter, quite balanced. Alcohol nowhere to be seen. Very nice
