2013 Single-hop release. Part of the IPA is dead series. Single hopped with Amarillo @6.9%
Re-Released as part of 2014 selection. @7.2%
One of our favourite American hops; all about the fruit. Think blood orange, orange zest and citrussy goodness fruit, the fruit is balanced by floral notes in the most classic of new wave IPA hops.

0,33l fles gedeeld met mark en jeroen. Donker goudgeel met een flinke witte kraag. In de geur citrus en ook dennen. Smaak Is mooi vol minder zoet als de andere uit de single hop serie.

Bygers (1182) - Oslo, NORWAY - AUG 10, 2014
Bottle 0,33l. Pours a golden/amber colour with a medium white head that stays. Aroma of hops, pineapple, hay, citrus and some malt. Same for taste. Clean taste, oily texture. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle consumed at Cropredy ’Fairports Annual Reunion’ Festival, Cropredy, Oxon, Thursday 7th August 2014 Pours clear warm gold, really is excellent clarity, a touch of honey bitterness good but under a malty leash. Nicely hoppy, but goes well with smoked almonds. A very good beer but smoother and less crisp than expected. A6 A4 T7 P3 Ov13 3.3

Hoppsan (151) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - AUG 9, 2014
33 cl bottle. Pineapple and other tropical fruits in aroma and taste. Well balanced, but spiky alcohol. Nice, but the Oppigårds Amarillo is light years ahead in all areas! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Hm, den här var väl ganska slätstruken. Inte så mycket att tillägga om den här egentligen.

Geiserich (4499) - Linz, AUSTRIA - AUG 8, 2014
Bottle: Amber color, creamy head. Aroma is malty, light sweet with caramel notes, tropical fruites, grapefruit, resin. Flavor is also malty, light sweet with caramel notes, citrus peel, herbs, spices. Nice.

BiffNilsson (270) - Perstorp, SWEDEN - AUG 8, 2014

PriorL (3068) - Gent, BELGIUM - AUG 8, 2014
Bottle at S&G tasting. APPEARANCE: clear darker blond beer, small unstable off white head. NOSE: hoppy, bitter, fresh, florar. TASTE: hoppy, bitter, decent.

HULK777 (591) - - AUG 7, 2014
Brewdog has released four different single hop IPAs which gives us the opportunity explore and acquaint ourselves with different hop varieties. The Amarillo has a fruity aroma, somewhat sweet, with notes of orange. Taste is blood orange, with hints of honey. Bitter, still soft aftertaste.
