One of our favourite American hops; all about the fruit. Think blood orange, orange zest and citrussy goodness fruit, the fruit is balanced by floral notes in the most classic of new wave IPA hops.

Bottle at another tasting. Hazy pale gold pour with no head. Aroma of fresh weed, quite lemony hop. Taste is nice, light malty notes, really citrusy hop, nice lemonade juicy citrus. Palate is light bodied with light carbonation. Beat my expectations.

Bottle @ Another Tasting, courtesy of me. Pour a slightly hazy amber beer with a small off white head on top. Aroma is very fresh Amarillo, obviously. Loads of fresh hay, light grapefruits, grass. Flavor is a bit less impressive, still decent bitter touches and some light fruity influences. Short, light bitter finish. Very nice!

Bottle at Another Tasting, hosted by MrHangover. Aroma is full of Amarillo hops, slighty spicy, slightly sweaty, a hint of marihuana and some resin. Flavor is very hoppy, very fresh and clean. I still love this hop.

Clear orange color with medium head that goes down quickly. Aroma of caramel malts, resins, and maybe orange peel. Taste is sticky sweet and fruity. Oily texture, near-flat carbonation. A bit warming towards the end. A really good one!

The aroma is piney, fruity and with notes from tangerines. The taste is a little oily and sharp, and that’s not how I really expected it to be. It’s not bad, but not "equally good" as other single hop Amarillo´s. The aftertaste is a little thin, and the rather high ABV had me expecting much more. After the first, sharp sting, it fades off pretty quick. But still, it’s a decent brew.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a clear deep golden with a smallish white head. Very little hop aroma - mostly comes out caramellish. Medium body, a subtle fruitiness but mainly just sweet caramel. Not much of an IPA. 221014

Luktar jäst, gräs, parfym, frukt. Guldfärgad. Smakar aprikos, gräs, parfym, frukter, beskt, alkohol. Smakrik, fyllig.

Psytron (2284) - Turku, FINLAND - OCT 18, 2014
Smell of fruit. Hazy amber colour, foamy white head. Aroma of orange peel, fruit, some spruce. Bitter, but also mildly sweet. Flat carbon, slightly oily texture.

Fasiken vad det kan vara fint med en fruktig ipa, riktigt fint. Smaken var fruktig med toner av lakrits, äpple och ananas, kroppen var helt okej och balansen satt på sin plats.

kingvit (409) - - OCT 7, 2014
Aroma: grass, resin, citrus; Appearance: pale golden, minimal head; Taste: medium sweetness, medium sourness, medium bitterness; Palate: oily texture, full body, average carbonation, long finish Well-rounded, delicious, fresh Ipa with intense peach notes and sticky mouthfeel. Refreshing.
