Ruthless India Pale Ale

Start with a colossal grapefruit aroma. Pile on bitterness after thumping bitterness, and ride the anarchy wherever it takes you. The caramel razor is sharp, but the resinous bite drills straight through your taste buds.

For blitzing the mediocre, raising hell and revelling in the aftermath, Jack Hammer is the end of the line. The hopped-up, pucker-mouthed terminal extreme of craft brewing. This beer is bitter. Very bitter. If you push that button, dont say we didnt warn you

OG: 1069

Pours a place clear straw colour with not much head. Flavour is dominated by a dry, grapefruit bitterness... pine resin... bit of grass... Dry, bitter finish. Tasty.

Bottle from the Brewdog online store. Pale golden colour. Extremely almost absurdly bitter, bitingly so, pine, a little citrus. Mostly pine, resin and bitter. Dry finish. I llke it.

0.33l bottle. Mhm.. Smells nice! It pours a cloudy unfiltered orange body with lots of white or grey sediments and floaters storming in the glass. Did not know that brewdawg stopped filtering their beers? Is thats the case, nice! The head is short living, kinda bubbly and white in color. Loaded with grapefruit and pine needles on the nose. Its fruity, some peaches, tarmac and apricots. Smells like Brewdog alright. A really nice bitterness all the way through in this. Light oily on the mouthfeel with a average carbonation level. Really pine bitter, some birch, fresh hops, fruity and really tasty. Highly enjoyable in the sun, after job on a Friday afternoon. Happy times! 26.07.2013

Color dorado turbio.

Poured from a 330ml bottle. Golden with lively head. Aroma of citrus/grapefruit. Taste of highly concentrated hops with heavy bitter finish. Am not sure if possible to drink these all night but one, down by the river, on a sunny afternoon, under a shady tree, is a pleasant experience!

On tap @BrewDog pub. Yellow to copper, little bit hazy with rather small head. Strong grapefruit aroma with some tropical fruits behind. Strong, little bit ashy bitterness already from the first sip. Light body, well carbonated with long and strong bitterness finish. Well done!
