Ruthless India Pale Ale
Start with a colossal grapefruit aroma. Pile on bitterness after thumping bitterness, and ride the anarchy wherever it takes you. The caramel razor is sharp, but the resinous bite drills straight through your taste buds. For revelling in the mediocre, raising hell and reaping the commercial rewards, Jack Hammer is the end of the line. The hopped-up, pucker-mouthed terminal extreme of craft brewing. This beer is bitter. Very bitter. If you push that button, don’t say we didn’t warn you…
Ingredients: Extra Pale malt, Centennial & Columbus hops, dry hopped to 200+ theoretical IBUs with Citra, Amarillo and Simcoe.

UPDATED: FEB 10, 2017 Bitter!!! But without it being simply all the beer has to offer. Still great flavour from hops: pine and grapefruit mainly. Its the big bad brother of Brewdog’s PUNK IPA. Definitely targeted at fans of the bitterness. Absolutely an astonishing beer! (unfortunately a costly CHF 4.40 per 33cl bottle at Manor Food in Baden - but still worth it)

PowY (1043) - AUSTRIA - JAN 28, 2017
330 ml bottle. Pours a hazy golden with some bigger floating particles and a white head. Aroma of citric hops - lemon and pomelo - piny, quiet fruity with passion fruit and some peach with some reluctant maltiness in the back. Rather complex. Medium body a with light to medium carbonation and a dominant bitterness. The taste is pretty dominated by the hoppy bitterness and not as fruity as it could be with oranges and grapefruits. The malt is not as present as in other beers of this style with comparable ABV. Thus, rather crisp and fresh but definately on the bitter side.

Great IPA with amazing aroma and harshly bitter taste. Highly drinkable and awesome.

Bottle. Hazy Yellowy Gold in colour. Average creamy white head. Good lacing. Very Fruity; tangy citrus grapefruit and orange, rind. Hoppy; intense piney resinous hops. Malty; toasty malts, caramel. Bitter citrus fruity meets sweet caramel malty. Increasingly bitter and dry into fruity hoppy finish. Good stuff. Assertively fruity hoppy IPA! (2016-08-24)

UPDATED: JAN 12, 2017 Bottle. Hazy yellow colour with a medium white head, massive fruity and citric hoppiness in the nose with notes of grapefruit, peach and orange, taste is also hoppy-fruity with only a very subtle sweetness and a long, overwhelmingly bitter finish.
