Ruthless India Pale Ale

Start with a colossal grapefruit aroma. Pile on bitterness after thumping bitterness, and ride the anarchy wherever it takes you. The caramel razor is sharp, but the resinous bite drills straight through your taste buds.

For blitzing the mediocre, raising hell and revelling in the aftermath, Jack Hammer is the end of the line. The hopped-up, pucker-mouthed terminal extreme of craft brewing. This beer is bitter. Very bitter. If you push that button, dont say we didnt warn you

Nice, fruity aroma with the malt shining through. The taste is hoppy at first followed by a long, bitter aftertaste.

Final amargo, no exagerado, bastante persistente. Una IPA excelente.

Bottle BBE: 14/07/16. Well-chilled. Pours a slightly hazy golden body with minimal, patchy, off-white head. Bubbles quickly dissipate giving a flat appearance. High-intensity aromas, most strikingly grapefruit with some resin. Very juicy, tropical fruit squash; slightly herbal, some mint. Dominant bitterness, as fits style, with a moderate sugary sweetness holding up well against the hops. Medium-bodied with a slick, oily texture, low carbonation and a disappointingly short finish. A pretty good American-style IPA with masses of tropical fruit on the nose without much of the associated bitter resinous notes. However, its impact is lessened slightly by the low carbonation leading to a lack of crispness or even a lasting finish.

Pours a hazy orangish copper with a frothy white head. Aroma of grapefruit, caramel, light pine, resin and more grapefruit. Taste is grapefruit, resin, sweet pale malts, more grapefruit and a smooth bold bitterness throughout. Very well balanced and never astringent!

Draught at Bishops Arms. Hazy, amber-golden colour with a thin, white head. Fruity aroma with peach, citrus, caramel malts and pines. Taste is bitter. Medium body with a creamy texture. Finisgrs dry and bitter. Lovely.

Slightly hazy orange pour, with a medium off white head. Nice hops in the aroma. Quite resinous, lots of pine, and some slightly sweet candied zesty citrus. Body is a touch thin, carb is spot on. Finish is medium to highly bitter, with a strong peach, and orange zest flavour.

330cc bottle. Pours light orange with almost white head. Hop blast: pine, onion, grapefruit, orange peel, apricot, a bit tropical fruit. Some bread and caramel below the hoppiness. Nice mouthfeel, carbonation. Long aftertaste. Very smooth and nice bitterness, fighting along with the sweetness of the malts. Top brew
