A more apt name than ’Punk’, which is of course anything but, this is a hoppy pneumatic drill, bashing bitterly on your temples for the last third of the bottle until all caramel imperiosity is long forgotten. Ysok02 (1835) - Mons, BELGIUM - APR 17, 2017
330ml bottle. Pours a hazy golden amber with a small white head. Nose is sweet caramel malt, pithy grapefruit , orange zest and hops. Medium carbonation, chunky mouth feel. Sweet caramel malt, biscuit malt taste, leading into huge hopp bitterness. Piney and resinous on the palate, with massive grapefruit and apricot hit. Very satisfying and punchy ! crimson75 (298) - Gdańsk, POLAND - APR 15, 2017
Trochę jednstronne - zdominowane prze goryczkę - pwio, z wyraźnym alkoholem, ale jednak mojące w sobie coś pwio. Zaciekawiło mnie połączenie tak wysokiej goryczki z brakiem takiej klasycznej ameryki, cytrusów itd.
Ciekawe. Moje pierwsze, ale mam nadzieję że nie ostatnie piwo z BrewDog ngjvilla (7) - cardiff, WALES - APR 9, 2017 does not count
Pours pale orange. Aroma of citrus and grapefruit which you find in the taste along with a huge bitterness, which works brilliantly. Also dry hop and slight caramel flavours which gives you a few seconds of sweet before being hit by the bitterness. Quality beer.

Jack Hammer- A Ruthless IPA
Jack Hammer as implied is a highly alcoholic and hard hitting beer. Generally I would presume a certain imbalance with a beer with this statement, I was wrong. This work of art is perfectly balanced. Bitter grapefruit- yes, subtle sweetness- kinda.
Jack Hammer imbues the nose with a sweet, fruity and clean grapefruit. An aroma that cuts through and subtle and underlying smokey and sweet, diminishing molasses quality.
Heavy bitter flavours dominate a crisp caramel malt. Not a lot else going on here, but why over complicate the matter.
Jack Hammer characterises the adage KISS (keep it simple stupid). There is a simple palate and flavour backed up by a relatively easily decoded aroma. The beer jack hammers into the drinkers brain, "this is what I am, deal with it".

Bottle. Clear golden-yellow with white head, fizzy. The aroma has notes of citrus (grapefruit, lemon) and onion. Quite bitter flavor with lots of grapefruit, lemon zest, grassy, "green", onion, dry. Lively carbonation, light to medium-bodied. Very nice. surething_ii (799) - Šenkvice, SLOVAK REPUBLIC - MAR 27, 2017
Bottle from Pezinská pivná pumpa.
...with VERY intense aroma. It hammered me in the moment I was pouring it to the glass. Look sucks though, appears almost as morning piss.
No head, no life in it. Now how do you taste dear hammer? Hoppy! And very bitter! Second sip? You, inbound taste of hops is like a blitzkrieg of 1939th. Leaving no survivors and even if they are any, they are quickly wiped out in second massive wave of bitterness. I like!
