Ruthless India Pale Ale
Start with a colossal grapefruit aroma. Pile on bitterness after thumping bitterness, and ride the anarchy wherever it takes you. The caramel razor is sharp, but the resinous bite drills straight through your taste buds. For revelling in the mediocre, raising hell and reaping the commercial rewards, Jack Hammer is the end of the line. The hopped-up, pucker-mouthed terminal extreme of craft brewing. This beer is bitter. Very bitter. If you push that button, don’t say we didn’t warn you…
Ingredients: Extra Pale malt, Centennial & Columbus hops, dry hopped to 200+ theoretical IBUs with Citra, Amarillo and Simcoe.

Pours a nice cloudy beer with a good white head. Smells pretty fruity. Grapefruit. Tastes really nice. Big fruity taste and nice bitter. Thick body and a very dry texture with a good average carbo.

A fruity smell, some citrus and a little bit sweet. The small white fizzy head has a normal duration, the body is pale yellow. A quite bitter taste, light fruity, the finish is long and bitter. The body is light, quite creamy with a normal carbonation.

Piwo świetne, z doskonałą grejfrutową goryczką i o świetnm aromacie. Alkohol jest tu świetnie ukryty i nawet po ogrzaniu jest słabo wyczuwalny. Polecam.

UPDATED: NOV 4, 2017 floral hop notes, alcohol well balanced by the heavy hops, medium body, could be better (to my taste) with a fuller body.

Acquistata sul sito della Brewdog. Biondo dorato con riflessi arancio. Schiuma bianca areosa mediamente persistente. Media carbonazione. Una ipa bella tosta.

Can. Pours a clear gold with a two-finger white head that dissipates to a lacy film. Abundant piney hops, bitter citrus and tropical fruit in the nose. Medium carbonation. Flavors of stone fruits, caramel, bread, pine, and an assertive, resiny hop finish. Surprisingly clean mouthfeel. A real hop hammer, but nicely balanced and light.

UPDATED: OCT 21, 2017 Jack Daniels, Jack Nicholson, Jack Kerouac, Jack Sparrow, Jack Black, Jack Dee... it ain’t a guarantee of quality, but the odds have to be favourable! This little can from Asda had a lot to live up to. So, it poured a light, clear golden colour with a lacy white head. So far, so good. A mighty fruity aroma, hops, pine etc. Then the taste... surprisingly drinkable, Dead Pony Club tastes stronger! It is a very nice little IPA, not sure it’s ruthless but I guess I don’t know Jack!
