Ruthless India Pale Ale
Start with a colossal grapefruit aroma. Pile on bitterness after thumping bitterness, and ride the anarchy wherever it takes you. The caramel razor is sharp, but the resinous bite drills straight through your taste buds. For revelling in the mediocre, raising hell and reaping the commercial rewards, Jack Hammer is the end of the line. The hopped-up, pucker-mouthed terminal extreme of craft brewing. This beer is bitter. Very bitter. If you push that button, don’t say we didn’t warn you…
Ingredients: Extra Pale malt, Centennial & Columbus hops, dry hopped to 200+ theoretical IBUs with Citra, Amarillo and Simcoe.

Żółte, klarowne. Piana obfita złożona ze średnich i dużych pęcherzyków, dość szybko redukuje się do cienkiej warstwy, a później znika całkowicie. Aromat leśny, trochę cytrusów i delikatny karmel. W smaku żywica jest dużo wyraźniejsza i przykrywa większość pozostałych smaków. Nasycenie niskie. Goryczka wysoka, leśno-żywiczna, nieco męcząca.

On tap at Brewdog, Soho. Gold pour (light haze) with a white head. Aromas of fresh cream, peaches, vanilla, grapefruit, stewed veg. Flavours of grapefruit, lots of bitter citrus in there. Long bitter finish. Not bad at all.

Tap at Brew Dog. Pours orange golden body with thin white lacing. Aroma has grapefruit pith melon rind and pine resin. Taste is light sweetness and medium to full bitter. Palate medium bodied, average carbonation, resinous texture, astringent bitter finish. One for the summer.

Strrrasznie gorzkie, ta goryczka nie jest niczym obudowana, zbyt agresywne piwko na moje kubeczki.

Bottle, 0.33l. Clear golden pour, no head. Minimal lacing. Refreshing nose, herbal, hoppy, notes of grass and pine, vague honey. Medium body, lively carbonation. Regular texture. Strong and refreshing bitter taste, really nice. Aroma is packed with hops. Grassy, pine, passion fruit. Herbal peppery notes, dusty. Very subtle malt character underneath, some caramel and honey notes. Slight alcohol presence. Drying mouthfeel. Long bitter finish, very tasty. Overall, excellent IPA. Bitter with strong hop character, refreshing, fresh and well balanced. Top brew.

Just another stupid IPA from a can, how ubiquitous. Who cares about deh color? I'll just give it a 2 fer dah eye, can't be more pleasing than a steady hazy hefe. Forget about civility, its all about how insulting this style can be. Pop the can and it seems to be volatile IPA on the nose, then, it turns out to be so..... . Taste is fresh astringent big bitter kick in the teeth, yeah, I said teeth, little me. What yah gonna do about it? You a big IPA lover er sumthin? Big nasty WTF? I do haftah admit there is some co2 in thar, and it is noticeable. Big green can taste like a big green can. HAH! SO, so, so stupidly sharp and bitter I think to myself; pile on bitterness after thumping bitterness, and ride the anarchy wherever it takes you. Like a harley on the big grey ribbon, It takes me right to the end, and then some, the bitterness never ends...... What else can be said except its a big green veggie hop, like a session in flavor, a bomb that it finally freshly tries to knock at dah door of imperial pale ale.

One of the better Brewdog offerings. Grapefruit, mandarin and pine. Lightly carbonated and has a crisp bitter hop finish in the mouth. Nice
