Aroma is dark plums, fudge and alcohol. Beautiful apperance, reddish see through brown. Taste is portwine like, not much carbonation. Sweet, round and pleasant on the palate. Would buy again, probably good with desserts like creme brulee:) ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle, black with shades brown, little foam. The nose aroma of malt liquor and wood. Mouthfeel is full body, roasted malts, vanilla, coconut, chocolate, wood, caramel, rum and sugar syrup. Very complex and incredibly drinkable beer despite the alcohol. Remarkable.

Botella. Color nefro con espuma blanca poco persistente y baja carbonatacion. Aroma licoroso, madera, caramelo. En boca es bastante alcoholica, dejando notas a caramelo, mucha barrica y un agradable sabor a ron con un final alcoholico

Uhlen (251) - Trondheim, NORWAY - JAN 7, 2013
Dark brown, small head that fizzles away quickly. Aroma of licorice and dark fruits. Strong taste of licorice aswell. With a clear hint of barrel-aging. Really sweet, with a hint of alcohol in the aftertaste.

Really good beer. I just love when the beer is stored. Really good flavor. Strong and tough as I had expected. The aftertaste is also heavy but still good. Will over this beer should be ready to try it.

Rrauth (1196) - North Carolina, USA - DEC 7, 2012
Pours dark brown tan head fast dissipating Very little aroma seems to be highly carbonated still Slight alcohol burn thin body but typical of porter. The rum does much to improve the porter. Maybe better with a dark rich rum instead. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bov (12636) - Bienne, SWITZERLAND - NOV 27, 2012
from Erzbierschof - dark beer with a poor head retention; aroma of roasted malts, strong notes of whisky, gently peated; notes of cacao and tar; full-bodied; tasty; pretty fizzy and with a huge bitterness; a fair saltiness, long roasted afetrtaste of cacao, burning alcohol, caramel and whisky

Martinus (4601) - Baarle-Nassau, NETHERLANDS - NOV 14, 2012
Reddish brown colour, no head (few scattered bubbles). Aroma of raisins, rum, cane sugar and caramel. Rather sweet flavour, raisins and brown sugar. Creamy texture, sweet caramel finish, light wood, light liquorice.
