Bottle from BottleDog London. Clear dark red brown with lasting beige head. Sweetish piney resiny grapefruit hop aroma as you would expect with this style. Which by the way I like. Both things. Sweet malts. Sweet strawberry flavour mixed with grapefruit. Not hugely hoppy. More sweet to be honest. Yes some hop on finish. But it’s a jammy fruity imperial red to me. mcberko (18067) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JUN 9, 2014
On tap at Brewdog Camden, pours a dark amber / mahogany with a small beige head. Aroma reveals notes of bready caramel malts and very moderate hops. Flavour brings out dry caramel malt, followed by resin, and toasted malt. Well-balanced between the hops and malt. Very good red ale. TBone (17685) - Pori, FINLAND - AUG 9, 2014
