COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This is beer of the people, by the people, for the people. The concept is simple - we ask you what beer you want and you tell us. The whole thing is designed and engineered by you.

For 2016, after extensive polling and an array of candidates, the president elect was a 10.5% triple IPA. This three-headed beast was brewed with four American hops, sour cherries and oak chips. All rounded off in solidarity with a feisty fist of unity by Marty Breslin.

American hops, sour cherries and oaky warmth unite for a triple alliance. Zesty fruity notes are given a sour twist, followed by a hint of oak and alcohol warmth, all held together by a dry biscuit malty backbone. This is beer to the power of three - bitter, sweet and warming, all in perfect harmony.

#MashTag - liquid democracy.

Flaska brewdog. Mörkorange kulör. Doft av druva, övermogen frukt och mandelmassa. Mustig smak av äpple, druva och citrus. Kraftfull och välbalanserad sett till styrkan.

330ml bottle kindly shared by Finn. Bubbly white head, spotty lacing on the glassware, next to clear warm golden body. Ripe orange aroma. Mixed taste profile of grapefruit, caramel and juicy malts. Citrus peels to the ending. Warming and quite heavy to drink. Slow sipper qualities. (Rating session with Finn and djoeye, Tromsø 18.05.2017).

Aroma; fruit bowl, fermented sweets, nice blend. Look; fawn head, clear golden body. Taste; fruits, fermented bowl of almost all, strength – solid finish. Feel; strong body, nice co2. Overall; heavy sipper. [33cl.btl abv10.5% #16 [email protected] Oslo Aker Brygge [email protected]&biere Finn’s]

2016 catch up - Bottle at home - Holy cow! There was too much going on in the glass for me. The triple IPA flavour was there, but the whole thing was overloaded by the cherries, although they didn’t dominate the beer. It was too much of a jumble for me and I didn’t enjoy it. Nice to try, but not one to have again as it was, in my opinion, an experiment too far for Brewdog

A feisty fist indeed! A powerhouse blending of serious American hops, sour cherries and boozy warmth. Very fresh and distinct tastes, rich and smooth body and a sold blend.

Bottle, Brewdog online. Light golden colour, white foam. Very unusual this, light malt, hint of cherry, the wood does taste a bit bretty, bitterness present but not dominationg, not so much hop flavour. Lots going on, nice, but not convinced it all melded perfectly.

Felt more like an average and quite boring barleywine.
Hazy deep golden color with a fine white head. Good lacing. Ok intensity in the aroma. Medium to full body. Fine carbonation level and a bit oily texture. Dried fruit, toffee, some oak and mild citric. A bit unbalanced and not that well masked alcohol.
[Bottle from Vinmonopolet Aker Brygge in Oslo, Norway]
